While I wait for Fast intention to announce their automatic tranny upgrade

I know Tony dropped a hint about the 7AT details when he returned from vacation, it was basically they are in the final stages and hope to get all details

I would almost wager the 7AT stuff is done, but they are just doing testing and such.

While you wait, items to think about purchasing:
-Radiator
-Gauges
-Oil cooler
-Exhaust setup

After that you can look into the next level up:
-Body kit
-Venting (hood, fenders, etc) to remove hot air
-Diff
-Traction control box
-Suspension & Brakes

Building the block I would advise based on your overall goals. Do you want huge power, do you plan to track or keep the car for years, weekend car only? A built block is nice, but not really needed as it can open another huge can of worms. If you want to head that route I would advise building a spare block instead.

Or they could be stuck just remember it's never a good idea to take your car apart and depend on something that isn't released yet. So if you are waiting for this don't do things like run high boost expecting to be able to get it built right away when it starts slipping, or taking your DD apart for the install expecting to get the parts next week.

I think that is why he is waiting on ordering the TT kit, until the 7AT is released to do it all at once. Most of the other upgrades can be done along side the TT kit to reduce labor cost, but some stuff like brakes or aero parts can be done now if he wants.

I'm looking for atleast 580 to 640 WHP because I'll be tuning the car on E85 since its readily available here. Also looking to make the car my DD.

Yup you are correct on that. I am waiting to order the TT kit until the 7AT is released.

Well seeing what F.I. has done with E85 & TT you should be easily able to reach that on stock block, but the longevity is the question. Though so far good results from F.I. TT owners and each passing mile they add show how strong the VQ37 is. With you, your bigger issue is going to be the 7AT, even with a built/upgraded transmission you might run into some issues.

I'm curious to see how it handles the boost as well. Being used as a DD with that much HP is curious as well.

Well the plus side to a TT setup which is built properly is a nice boost controller. He can easily run around on 8PSI all day and then when he wants all the power ramp it up to 10-12 no question.

True. Didn't think of that, don't have boost yet myself. It's a lot to take in.

Meh, I'm used to huge power daily driver cars. For the past 2 years before I sold my challenger, I was daily driving a 700RWHP challenger. Then again I only drive about 7 miles a day.

You can easily dd a 12 psi build. Just control your urges and ensure that you conduct proper warmup and cooldown procedures. I am just curious as to what the 7at can handle.
