I've been looking for solid advice, and the only thing thats been consistent is that everyone has some beef with someone else and everyone is always having a d!¢k measuring contest or insulting someone else.... Sigh....

I am sorry this upsets you, I really don't know what you are upset about. Like I posted earlier, my comment was directed at the beating of the dead GTM horse, not anything or anyone else. e85 makes alot possible, along with anything, I hope to find the breaking point on this engine. But as I have learned, no issues of yet, no signs of anything. If it is an option for the OP, then great, I know how to get him to 600hp daily drive-able. But it is not as simple as fill up with e85 and go. This is where I can help, provide input and share my experiences. I am sorry if I had done anything to upset you, I am not trying to come of as a pompous *******. But if he dreams of a 600hp Z, it is out there. I have no idea if it is an option for him. BY years end there will be many e85 Z's running crazy numbers and it will be a ton of fun. Like I said.....I am very sorry if I said anything at all to offend you. I am just over the dogpiling on GTM, as well as the bickering. We are all trying to do what we can, how we can, I figured I might know something about running those numbers. This is all. |

On 93 with any kit, you really just need(for a Fast Intentions example) *turn key kit *tune *oil cooler 34 row *exhaust 2.5 or 3 will do To get going. I suggest a Fast500 or CJM stg 0 on top of that to work out any fuel demons as you will be past 500hp and could benefit from some added security. |

I still recommend something like the FAST500 fuel system if you go with fast intentions. with 650cc and the pump given, you will be set. |

If I can take one parting shot it is: talk to your tuner and manufacturer about what you want to do. They should be the first to hear anything and the only ones making a decision for you. There you can set realistic goals and expectations regarding prices, packages and time. We can share what we know, but we are all fairly irrelevant. I highly suggest going through them with what ideas you can find from us and the FAQs. Stay safe my friend. Best of luck with the boosting. These cars are insane at what they can do with a pair of tiny snails and some ingenuity. I apologize for raising any ire on this thread, never intended. dm...I apologize, OP I apologize, peru, I apologize. It's mother's day and I burnt my oysters... Enjoy guys! |

It's all there, the problems have been mostly sorted out, and it can make serious power yeah awesome for the next guy. put down your ******* pitch fork for minute to realize it is still a FI z that will go for less than is in it (by far) and all that is required is to pick it up from the dealer and and have it tuned and gone over a bit by a good shop.

What u call pitchfork is obvious facts to others. The guy sold it cuz of all the problems. They haven't come up with a permanent fixable solution as all the belts just keep snapping. The next guy to buy this car will get a HEADACHE. I'm having a hard time to understand how they are gonna have a great car? If it was such a great car why did SS sell it off for a huge loss. If it was such an easy fix why sell it? Pitchfork my *** just open up and read. Good luck getting any help from said company also. Smh

his ac failed, an idler failed, his factory tensioner failed(was actually the alternator?), his bpv were out of adjustment did I miss anything?
And just to point out 2 of those things most likely had nothing to do with the supercharger. I think he sold it because he spent A LOT on it and has had a streak of problems with it. My head gasket leaks and I thought about selling my car and I'm only NA, when my trans went, when my engine blew, the first time my clutch failed I thought about selling the car each time. Now that I'm thinking about getting an Elise in the future it is getting harder and harder to keep my self from selling it whenever something breaks.

For only owning a na car you certainly have all the answers to all of our FI matters and fuel opinions. lol This being my 4th TT install myself I feel pretty knowledgeable but speak of things I know of instead of things I only think I know of... There are a lot others on this forum that have credible advice I would take that have been there and done that and others that like to just start crap every chance they can just to be a prick...

yup cosmo you got me I've only ever owened an NA car, and I have NEVER worked on or even seen for that matter a turbo in person
Edit: It's all internet lies Edit2:In all honesty I understand I lose some credibility by not throwing my work history out there, but where you have done 4 installs I have done probably 5 times that number across a wide range of cars, I have designed parts and custom systems and everyone I have worked for or done work for has had nothing but excellent things to say about my work and knowledge. I only have ever dabbled in ecu tuning and I would say that is an area I would like to work more on. I have nothing to hide but it is the internet so the only way to get my work history out of me is to take my resume. SS is the only one who could tell us why he sold it maybe the cost of a FI car got to him and he wanted to go back to simply owning a lightly modified car. His new nismo is a sweet color too. Edit3: enough off topic. Op you will want to address the clutch as well I personally like my OS Giken gran sport twin disk but it was expensive.
