Why can someone not make a SS Mani for our cars like come on! My brothers mkiV has like 20 equal length manifold options and I get all jealous looking at his available manifold pron. I'm over here like yeahhhhh check out my bad@ss cast manifolds lol

because we are low volume low sales so no-one gives a **** about us. not to mention GOOD stainless manifolds that won't crack will cost around $1600 a set.

No different than surpas a good boost logic equal length mani will run you 1600 I would pay that for peace of mind knowing I won't end up with cracked sl-lit from a company that probably won't be around in the future to get replacements from.

Wow only 900 for brand new manis!?? Whoahoaaa!!

I think I'll place my money into better investments like that intake mani CJM may release one of these days ;) :tiphat:

I now have about 1000lbs of aluminum here to turn into DE and VHR rails... enough to last me a very very long time.... and 40 more twin pumps. Once I burn through that over the next few weeks... I will be good to go on nothing but new product development for the rest of the year. Finishing the intake manifold is a for sure thing.

Rid3_FaM0uS 04-17-2014 06:04 PM

That's what I like to hear man! Getting ish done for the community! That will definitely be one mod on my must have list. Squeeze you got any more info on the HTA upgrade? Only numbers I can find are from tony quoting them to be good to 1000 hp w/alpha cover found a few RB guys with them looking for the 750-800whp mark on twins but no one is really saying yes it's possible no its not. Dont want to wrap up 1400$ just to shoot myself in the foot.

Your best bet would prolly be talk to tturbo370. He has the same kit running e85 and built block. On e85 he made 800 I believe.

Rid3_FaM0uS 04-17-2014 07:10 PM

Right on el ill look and see if I can find him man! Thanks!

Can't wait for that manifold, I have a feeling someone is going to find out how weak this plastic manifold is very soon.

Rid3_FaM0uS 04-17-2014 08:19 PM

Haha are you implying I'm going to blow my mani up next O&G!? Lolollll :D I really don't want to find out honestly so hopefully Charles can get his banged out soon. Do you know anything about these HTA compressor wheel upgrades by chance man? I'm looking all over for info on them but Jesus I can't find ANYTHING. Just a bunch of Audi guys looking to push their little single turbo kits and some snowmobile guys looking to boost their sleds. Someone in the performance industry has to have used this thing.

O&G 04-17-2014 08:19 PM

If your staying twins go 10:1, I went 9:1 cause I'm on a 7065 single.

No, it could be me, lol, or squeeze or who knows! I just don't like the idea of a plastic manifold under hi boost!

Rid3_FaM0uS 04-17-2014 08:37 PM

See idk what to do yet man. I want the torque and straight line power of a big single for highway rolls etc which is what I spend most of my enjoyment doing honestly. The way I see it that's really what any "weekend warrior" spends most time doing lol. At least that's the case for me though I can't really make a mass consensus off of just myself. But I do like the fast responsiveness of the twins sucks that you can't really have the best of both worlds but if I have to pick one ill probably lean towards the straight line power than the snap. I'm personally just happy to see people blowing past the "comfort zone" of this car and getting it out there and into new things

O&G 04-17-2014 08:46 PM

I don't know anyone else running 9:1 so it'll be nice to see how the car performs in the next week or so on some pump gas and hi boost! My tuner didn't want me to release one of the break in tunes he did on my car with timing adjustments, but I can tell you it was very impressive at just 16lbs of boost! I'll start a new thread on it when JTran gets verified as a forum sponsor, I got flagged for repping the shop too much! I'll also be taking it to a dynojet to get similar numbers to compare with everyone else as our Mustang dyno reads very low, we have to adjust to about 13-15% to get dynojet equivalent numbers.

And yes, I fall under the "weekend warrior" column!
