For me the choice is obvious, it's this kit or the fast intentions kit. This kit is more wallet friendly, and equally as good. Easier to self install. It's a no brainer

Not to start a war but how is this easier to install?

you don't have to replace oem headers with turbo manifold. BP crossover pipe bolts directly to the existing oem header flange. WGs and turbo are much easier to access. although you can probably do it without droppong the motor, I bet all the shops installing a FI kit are droppong tbe motor. no motor drop for BP

I'd like to have the car boosted and get some use out of it before it's put away for the winter. I'd prefer to go with BP from the research I've down, but if it's going to be 6+ month wait, I'll look into other options.

Fair enough, just giving you my opinion. I was planning on doing the install during the winter to give me something to do, but obviously if the kit rolls out before that time I won't have enough self control to wait :-P

You'll be tearing those boxes apart as soon as they arrive lol. Have you already purchased yours? Hopefully he'll take orders in the next month or so.
