http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/pdf/si_cmap.pdfMore cooling will help, the vortechs pump a lot of heat once you spin them faster. This is the old SI map and you are getting into the 65% efficiency island.

The rear pulleys were a 1:1 ratio and were changed out for 34T:30T setup and JTran made the idler pulley and got everything to work. Should be spinning the Si impeller around 56K rpms. It made 13+ psi on the SCi impeller at the same rpms, so I think 16+ psi is probable with the Si. Also have a 28T pulley in Ron's toolbox, but we haven't been able to make it work without shredding cog belts. It would spin the blower around 61K rpms, but I don't think it's going to happen. That setup will surely push close to 20 psi, but I'm not in a rush to make that work right now. For extra cooling, we added meth injection.

The car made 266hp w/ boltons and tune. 409hp w/ Stillen SC. 420+hp w/cogs. 450+hp when it blew w/ cogs and Si impeller and quite a bit of belt slip(15 psi @ 6500 rpms and held 15psi to redline).

We'll see how it does in a couple of weeks. I ran a 12.5 @ 114 on street tires with the cog pulleys and SCi impeller. I am a Novice.

All facts. Take them or leave them.

Also remember JTrans dyno reads lower than even other Mustang dynos, it's a relic, which is why he is switching to a new setup soon. We will all have a dyno jet day so we can compare numbers with all these other cats throwing out "big numbers", but as far as a tuning tool, it still does the job well!

I have given up on the Stillen Supercharger. It got to the point where we were going to have to redesign most of the original kit to make anymore power (belt routing, charge pipe, relocate MAFs, new air filter and intake pipe, bigger heat exchanger, separate IAT sensor, etc). And since we are already spinning the SI in the red at 56K rpms, I don't want to spend any more money on this setup. I just sold the kit to a local guy and it's getting installed right now.

My motor was finished a couple of months ago, and now has just over 1000 miles on it. We ended up going with 10:1 Arias pistons and Carrillo rods. Ron took apart and cleaned the heads up. So the motor is ready for a lot more than this kit can put out. So it's time for a JTran Motorsports Low-Mount Single Turbo.

Nice decision. What turbo you selecting? I'm running the BP PT6266 Twin Scroll. Same size as JTran put in that last Nismo he built but with a divided housing.

I don't know yet. Johnny and Ron are still talking about it. They are going to pick the turbo. They are slightly more qualified than me to make those decisions. Ha.

You are in good hands with those two. Can't wait to see progress. I'll be in and out a few weekends in June getting some things adjusted on the G.
