The tune and restrictive stock exhaust is what caused the differences in power. Keep in mind that the GT-R has four cats. Two as "down-pipes" and two in the mid-pipe. Very restrictive. Timing in the factory tune was pansy, as well. Merely adding a mid-pipe sans cats and changing the timing would net 30-40awhp. Up the boost three psi and you were looking at nearly +80. |

Sam, I have not seen anyone ask about the clutch/PP holding up to the various stages. In your opinion, is there any need to upgrade for any of the stages?
Also, what do you anticipate (from a hardware perspective) the changes to be from stage to stage? Thanks! |

way to bring back a dead thread. You're going to want to upgrade your clutch/flywheel however I'd wait, reports are coming in that the weak point is the master clutch cylinder and no one has released an aftermarket one just yet.

This is random but here is my opinion on the product and staff…. I like the product I have the stage 2 SC on my z making 520 ish whp. I love the kit and the power it brings, but didn't like the final price of roughly $15500. The shop that did it says it was by far the most complicated system they have ever done on something. Could have had 2 or 3 "average" supercharger kits installed in the same time. Fit and finish is very good although one charge pipe came damaged… I've been hounding GTM about getting a new one and I might be getting it next month ( 8 MONTHS AFTER INSTALL ) Like cmon, guys, I know you have my money and all but that doesn't mean I don't exist anymore… Even my tuner had a hell of a time dealing with them.

I'm trying to help the guy out. Instead of 100 people calling him, he could just answer once on the forum.

No, you're not. You've done nothing but bitch about a GTM CARB certified kit for your entire time here. Guess what? It's probably not going to happen. It's obviously not a priority for GTM. Rather than beat your head against the wall hoping for something that's not going to happen, why not either go with the one CARB certified kit on the market, stick with bolt ons or buy a car that has the power you want from the factory?
