Also, 390HP vs 332HP = approx 15% increase, stock for stock. 500HP at the crank vs 390HP at the crank is 22% increase - not sure if they designed it to handle that much? Then what I mentioned - 625HP vs 390 = 38% increase |

Kannibul, you forgot to throw in the weight difference in your math. The lighter 370z (compered to the FX) equal less stress on the transmission. |

Going off raw numbers, 38% (plus a bit) over known output might be a lot to ask? Either way, is it unlikely that a (this) supercharger kit could actually put out 625 at the crank, up from 332 - without blowing itself up during 100K miles? I mean, anything is possible...if you have the money! |

^ really 100k miles? I mean come on, I would expect to service your engine and FI system every 50k miles at 625hp. Clutch, brakes, all wear and tear items... There isn't any turn key forced induced car running 600+hp that can run to 100k with only oil changes. For the price, bang for the buck!
Not to mention that I and many others will have moved on from the 370 long before 100K is hit... forced induced or na Nick J.

More than likely, this car won't hit 40K miles for me, it'll either sit in a garage and be driven around occasionally, or be sold off later when I want something else, or, worst case, wrecked. It's all a balancing act. |

I have the same expectations...
But from someone who has first hand experience... This car may have problems from the factory... trans problems, oil burning problem what ever the speculations are spinning now.... anything you do to enhance the car will just exaggerate those problems if they do exist. If this was a fifth year production model with units containing 75k+ miles on the drivetrain system, with no repetitive and significant problems I would say yeah it is possible. But a new model with new technology, it will cost you and anything is possible. No longer are we in the era of carbs and five speeds, no longer in the cable driven throttle bodies and 6 speeds, but now have fly by wire, adaptive ecu, computer controlled transmissions... my rule of thumb, if you can't afford to fix it dont mess with it. Including the engine components and transmission. Spending 6k on a supercharger? Spend the other 3 or whatever on forged pistons and rods. Still want to mod more? Sell the 370 and get into a used 350 to have the cash to play. No money, no honey! Nick J.

I cant wait for the dyno vids... I want to hear what it sounds like.... I really liked the way my Vortech sounded, it could have been a tad quieter but overall it was a very nice sound.

So if I want around 400rwhp and I go with a SC, exhaust, intake and oil&trans cooler (since I have the 7AT), which trim do I get to reach that goal without having to overspin the SC?

Just something I saw, the 350Z SC from GTM is 8K so Im guessing the 370Z is going to be more. And for us 7AT owners add the trans cooler and probably an oil cooler and maybe an intercooler and man that will be expensive. Might have to get a single turbo kit as all I want is 400rwhp and I like the torque up front.

GTM we need updates.
And as for 450-500 HP there are plenty of G35's out there with non built engines still going strong with lots of miles on it.

Well thats not too bad then, sounds good. So to get 400rwhp which trim should I get so as not to overspin the SC? Will the TQ be increased at the lower end? Thanks again.
