Even our turbo kit installation does not require pulling the engine out of the car . Sam |

here is an example so you can get an idea, Our GTM 350ZHR turn key turbo kit has the best of everything ... garret turbos(water and oil cooled ball bearing),bar and plate intercooler,Tbolt clams and it does come complete with fuel system and ems for 7495.00 The Greddy turbo kit for the 350ZHR comes with journal bearing turbos (non ball bearing ) tube and fin intercooler no Tbolt clamps no fuel system and no ems solution for 8495.00 Get my point Sam Last edited by SAM@GTM; 09-10-2009 at 11:35 PM. |

I think I get your point. Pricing should be pretty good.

I would love to have a supercharger for this car but the GTM turbocharged setups are just sooooooooooo sick that it would be hard to decide. <3 GTM's previous work.

If pricing is right and the gains are there this is definitely a kit that I'd go after. I am mechanically inclined and don't think this would be too difficult an install where I'd need to pay someone else to do it.

might be a dumb question but im going to ask it anyways. Does the fuel system have to be upgraded if you get the supercharger kit or twin turbo kit? I'm seeing you have upgraded fuel systems for the 370z? or is that for the 350? I'm still learning how the 370z engine works and whatnot, i know on my supercharger cobalt i had to upgrade to 60lb injectors to run my 2.8 pulley and then i switched to the harrop tvs supercharger i was at 89% idc on the 60lb injectors so it was almost time to go to the 79lb injectors. Just wondering will the 370z be like that? if not when is it time to change to bigger injectors?

$6k installed is a pipe dream my friend. And FYI $8k installed is no where near TT territory for the 370. Your looking at 11k+ installed, so yes I think $8k installed would be reasonable for the SC.
Of course any cheaper would just be icing on the cake ...are you listening George? |

Wow this has been some interesting reading.... I take it most people on here purchased the 370Z and never owned a 350Z? From experience the guys at GTM are the s**t when it comes to the FI world. I have had friends and personal experience that any TT build will be priced around 15k+ if you want the job done right and a supercharger kit from about 9k+. The fact is you will never be satisfied and you get what you pay for.
A lot of people jump into the game thinking they'll just buy the kit slap it on and good to go. Not always the case, you still need a tune, possibly different injectors, fuel system, gauges, upgrade the pulley (if you have a SC), an engine managment etc. These things add up real quick and will put you over the budget in a heart beat. Of course the HR motor is a different beast in it's own from the previous VQ motors, so it's kind of like comparing apples to oranges. The good thing about the HR is it takes to mods well and produces the power. I guess as time goes we will really see what the true price of a good build will run. For those thinking the 6-7 range I hope you guys have a different credit card to put the rest of it on. I look forward to the rest of GTM's results, I know it will be promising and better then any other kits put on the market. |

^^^ agreed. However, doesnt GTM basically provide a turn key kit with everything you need included ie; engine & fuel managment, injectors, etc? If GTM installs their own kit does that include a tune?

you guys all have it wrong. we need to have everyone post up they wont pay more than 5k just so that GTM will feel obligated to keep the price down. it might not work, but its worth a shot

URD's first rotrex system was 4k, complete, ready to rock and roll. im not so sure why the huge jump in price once the TRD blower came out. I was the VERY first person to have it installed on my truck....was a decent kit. made 311 rwhp with meth on my tacoma that dynoed 192hp stock. ofcourse the TRD blower made 350rwhp on my truck with an assload more TQ....
