But personally i would not be happy with less than 100 whp with and carb certificate and this is what we are shooting for .

Great news, Sam! Thanks!

I don't care how much horsepower the car makes so long as it traps 120+ MPH. RWHP tells you absolutely nothing about how fast a car is. The only indication of a car's performance is, obviously, hard acceleration figures, i.e. 1/4-mile trap-speed, 1-mile trap speed, 60-150 MPH, etc.

To put a power figure to it, however...I think somewhere in the low-500 RWHP range should make this a 120 MPH car.

oh wtf?! 500+hp on a supercharger?!

if this beast gives 500+ RWHP & IT SHOWS GREAT RELIABILITY IN THE LONG RUN,
i'm gonna be doing EVERYTHING to get that money for this kit.

^^ love the non-z owner who comes in here, skims through the thread and asks for a dyno video of a product that is still in early development. Bravo!

What I would like to see is 120hp over stock CARB certified with another 30-40 each HP from a pulley and custom tune. Then have other stages for the non-cali people (or people in cali who don't care).

I think the right price point for a complete kit (not including install) is $6000..

Just my opinion

Hmm, how about you develop the non CARB versions first for "off road" use only? I hate how the rest of the country has to suffer because California sucks for emissions. Now this kit is going to be more expensive and take longer to produce to meet CARB. If only CA wasnt such a huge market for these things...if they weren't I guess they would be SOL for all these Performance Products.

^ I agree with RCZ, its disappointing that companies have a specific goal to get carb approved before releasing a product when California is just one state out of 50 that require the certification. Out of the 10,000 370z sold in 2009, I would wager that less than 750 are in california and of those 750 less than 1% will be installing a supercharger on their car. So if a few superchargers in California are worth the cost and the trouble to get carb approval, while waiting out and letting competitors release their alternatives to force induction and loosing potential customers... I think someone should get on the ball because I am ready to install one and would fabricate it myself if I had the time and resources to do so.

Just my opinion.
