I don't know if I agree with that, to get 600+ out of a turbo you are going to have to build the block as well. Secondly turbo's lack the low end torque that I am in love with. Either way both applications will require similar supporting mods, built engine, clutch/flywheel, exhaust to name a few...

Yes the intake was very challenging to make. Even that is an understatement. Given the limited space we have between the supercharger and the motor mount, we had to completely redesign the compressor housing of the supercharger so we could have adequate space to fit the proper supercharger inlet . Our senior fabricator and designer did an outstanding job of really maximizing the limited space we had to work with. Again we designed our kit to work around the car and not the other way around .

As for Friday, we are hoping for the complete press release of the GTM 370Z supercharger kit .

Sam

are you talking about this friday????????????:excited::excited::excited:

True dat not to mention you could buy a built block and a smaller pulley plus a supercharger kit for the price of a twin turbo kit soo about the same amount of money that a 500hp twin turbo kit costs. it is amazing what you can do when you don't have to buy 2 of everything and the stuffs not made out of inconel. i will admit the supercharger is the cheaper route right up to about 800hp then turbo's reduced power demands begin to make things cheaper. so if 700 hp or less is your goal i'd go supercharger.

Centrifugal SCs aren't known for great low end torque either, though. Roots/twin-screw SCs are the ones that have the great low end.

hahah blow through MAF's WHO CALLED IT. now we want to know why that pipe is overly complicated with dual filters instead of one big one my guess is one big one didn't fit.

Edit: kinda saw the blow through coming from a mile away as the IAT is MERGED with the MAF sensor

1slow370 01-29-2010 03:01 AM

oh and a 370 doesn't in any way qualify for sleeper status and especially not when it will CLEARLY sound supercharged and has a fuggin huge intercooler hanging of the front of it. this is not a 500 horsepower grand prix with a GTP swap people it's a two seater sports car that get's confused for a porche.
