Final numbers are 499/377
I am so numb right now I have little to no emotions about the numbers. I just want to pull up in my driveway from the drive home from Tampa without any holes in the block or hood. I'm so done with this. Turns out it was leaking boost from some coupler/clamp, don't ask me to elaborate because it was explained to me over my cell phone and sometimes sentences get garbled. I appreciate everyone's help and patience with my whining. I defenately have learned to be more patient and not to go off ranting when I should of waited for more info. This whole situation took me to the edge and nobody should have to go through what I did, it was F*CKING RIDICULOUS. My first mistake was going through GTM. In the end they finally came through with some help from Pablo and a certain forum member, I think without my persistant b*tching and the help from these people I would had to wait a lot longer. Sam was helpful at times. I think he has great products but he certainly doesn't have his sh*t together. I would have went with a single turbo from either BP or VSR if I had it to do all over again. Hell, I would have a slightly used C6 Z06 if I could go back far enough. Hopefully I will have years of enjoyment from this set-up and no more drama inbetween. Hopefully I won't be a stupid azz and put it in a ditch with my new found power or get a speeding ticket, although I can get out of most tickets ![]() BTW...I hope I'm not sceaming victory before I get her home ![]() |

Sebring isn't far from you (NASA is there June 21-22nd) and you would have the fastest 370Z there since I'm usually the only one there. It's a great way to get to know your cars true power without getting in trouble! I can get in the 130s in the back straight with 100 less whp, you can't do that often on the street without getting in trouble.

This should be strike 1 and 2 for VSR IMHO. That said, I'm happy for you and only wish for the best

Biggest reason why I hate boost are air leaks. I had to check all the time!! You might want to make yourself a tester from here on out and test regularly. If the installer didn't test along the way I feel bad for you.

glad it's all done and working properly, man what a mission, I've been keeping up with your info from the time you changed to the supercharger kit as I was thinking of doing the same a while ago..

Hey Guys,
like to start off by apologizing. We as a shop did not read the last page of the instructions and we are sorry. I can assure you guys that will never happen again, however that was not the issue. The issue was the oversized 90' coupler that comes off the supercharger and oversized T-bolt clamps. When the T-bolt clamp reached its end it caused the oversize coupler to pinch allowing boost pressure to leak out. The fix was simple, I robbed some clamps from a BMW 335i. The other problem we had with the kit was the oil system. The oil pan, oil filter relocation, thermostat and cooler do not work as plan. We made new lines, some drilling and a little fabrication and we made it all work. Overall the kit is very nice and it delivered the power. The instructions and the lack of parts showing up on time really caused a problem in the shop. Keep in mind we are a 18,000 sqft and at any giving time we have 40 cars in the shop. So when we have to stop and wait and stop and wait on parts that should have came with kit, not to mention that the kit fits 2012 and older NOT 2013 and for the record there are difference between the 2013 model not much but enough. My techs are not GODS, so they will forget and make a mistakes when pulled off a car. The Tuner and I came in on the weekend (shop closed) and went through the kit and retuned it. For the record it made 499.6 HP and 402 TQ. Very nice numbers. Thanks Bobby Last edited by SRperformance; 05-05-2014 at 08:06 AM. |

infidel mentioned you pushed timing to 21 degrees? isn't that pretty high for stock compression at 11psi? |
