GTM Exhaust Manifold Replacement..?
 

As most of you know a lot of the gtm exhaust manifolds have cracked and this issue needs to be addressed. VSR out of tampa has offered to replicate the manifolds by perfecting them so you would not have to drill and tap the motor. Before I prolong my project longer than needed I'm trying to get an idea of how many may be interested. Keep in mind I have affiliation with vsr in any way other than them building my long block and I'm only willing to do this to help out others that have the gtm TT kit with the same issues. If no takers I will simply have those cracks welded, the manifolds cryo treated and hope for the best.

The issue you're going to run into is that most people aren't going to know theirs have cracked until they pull the motor for other reasons.

Good point chuck but I'm trying to give everyone the benefit of the doubt while I have mine off. My built long block ships tomorrow and I'm dying for some boost!!!

If vsr had a jig and could make them up as needed they'd sell a lot more than a one time deal.

Have them replicate yours or something. I'll know soon enough about my manifold but I'm waiting to see how yours turns out so I can take the same path.

Interested in having extras as insurance if gtm replicated them hopefully vsr can

i had mine installed last year but only put 2k miles on it. Like chuck said I won't know until I pull my motor out and that may be in a year or 2.

What would be the price range and also do you think they can do the flow testing number comparing GTM and VSR?

I am currently waiting on the new GTM manifold/ see how yours turn out before I go pulling the motor. Once I pull my engine I want to have a new manifold option or I will just be selling my kit for something more efficient that can make some real power on this platform.

If other's GTM manifolds are crack mine have to be crack .

Plus these manifolds won't have restricted openings so there should be a good increase in efficiency.

Do they happen to have any sample picture of what they will do for our TT kit?
