You're 2nd sentence should tell you all you need to know about gtm. Think wisely buddy

Do not bother with GTM. They don't answer because they don't care about customer service. Use your money on people who love what they do for living.

Why do you want Supercharger over turbo kit may I ask? if its about price you can go for Boosted Performance turbo kit.. Its the best for the buck. I would've also recommended VSR turbo kit but you need to send the car to them to do the install.

Stay away from GTM.

Man, if you're worried about a payment plan you need to reevaluate your boost plans. You're going to spend as much in labor, tuning and supporting mods as you spend on the kit. You also need funds in reserve in case something breaks.

VSR will fit his budget to be honest. they install the kit, fit oil cooling, fit turbo booster, and tune it all in a nice price package.

All the owner have to do is fill the tank with fuel :P

The only knock on VSR (besides the turbo placement, which is another can of worms) is the fact it's only done in-house if I remember correctly. Out of the available options these days, it's either BP or FI depending on how thick your wallet is.

I had a powerlab gt35r in my g35 and the top mount kits aren't that bad. I didn't even have a blanket on mine and I never saw crazy oil temps and I live in South Florida.

Like I said, that's another can of worms beyond the scope of the thread. :rofl2:

It does work, but it's far from ideal.

G37sHKS 03-18-2014 10:54 AM

I would send the car to them to install it so if anything goes wrong they are responsible for it unlike some kits that need to be sent back and forth for the right part if you know what I mean..

Chuck33079 03-18-2014 10:56 AM

Well, I haven't read about anybody but GTM having issues like that, so if you stick with reputable vendors I wouldn't be too concerned.

Lets rest a turbo on fuel lines! Who needs a brace!

OP, go get a loan from a bank if you really want to go that route. Boosting is an expensive habit and it won't get cheaper after you have the kit!

I was waiting for some1 to say that. ;)

OP, now you know where to go.

Chuck33079 03-18-2014 11:25 AM

GTM forgets important parts. BP includes drill bits and the correct number of zip ties. :rofl2:

G37sHKS 03-18-2014 11:27 AM

And most important thing is They are 100% USA made and still cheaper than china HKS replica  :rofl2:

Chuck33079 03-18-2014 11:30 AM

BP is in Canada, but still close enough. Still better than China. :rofl2:

On the off chance you could get a kit from GTM, it's not bad at all. Doublecheck all of the plumbing, lines and cast parts, but the critical stuff is all made by name brands anyway. It's kinda like buying a used kit. :rofl2:
