There's a few running around

TopgunZ 03-06-2014 05:25 PM

Just seen you can get one for 8K. Back in my 350 days these were what Fast Intentions is to 370 now. Not as awesome but still it was king for that rig at that time.

Wonder what happened...:icon08:

$8000 is a little bit much without injectors or a tune. If it was $1200 or so cheaper, you would probably see a lot more of them.

Also make sure you order an extra set of exhaust manifolds because you will need them when your first set CRACK....

I haven't heard that many issues with Greddy, are you talking GTM? Lol

COSMO 03-06-2014 07:00 PM

I sent an email with pictures over a week ago and no response. Not like I'm surprised coming from gtm. We need to vote them off of this forum to save others from getting Screwed like some of us already have...

phunk 03-06-2014 07:01 PM

The Greddy ones will definitely crack. 3-4 years generally it seems. More or less depending on your luck and use it seems. But you can count on it happening eventually. (same manifold castings in the 350z kit, which is where most my examples are pulled from)

G37sHKS 03-06-2014 07:13 PM

I don't mind changing the manifold every 3-4 years. but not every 2 weeks. Just saying:rolleyes:

Too easy.......

Lol this guy....
You would really recommend them after everything that's happened? Cmon I thought Aussies were a good bunch who like Foster's beer and shrimpondabaaaaawwwbie. I must have been wrong!
You can't honestly tell me you would recommend them? Granted not a lot of people have ur zen like patience but no need to be outright evil and mean about it

Please show me a single time that I have recommended GTM?!? I simply tried to answer the OP's very simple question which seemed to have been ignored by every single post in this thread before my own. Whilst also trolling the usual suspects for a reaction.

Please show me a single time that I have said that GTM are the best or only option?

Please show me a single time that I have defended their terrible customer service?

In my opinion this is how is stands if you want a Turbo boosted VQ37:

Top of the range, baller kit that everyone should buy if they have enough money, LHD and MT = Fast Intentions

Top of the range and also awesomely priced low mount Single Turbo kit if you have LHD and MT = Boosted Performance

Another good option for high mount single turbo, which also looks decent = SR (pretty sure still only MT & LHD)

Cheaper TT Kit which has a proven track record of performing and should fit every single VQ37 on the planet (+ potential cracking manifolds I must add) = GTM

All of the above kits will require significant wait times for delivery and all of the three that had group buys have experienced massive delays. GTM obviously far worse than the others though!

EDIT: Barely anyone in Australia drinks 'Fosters'. To be honest I wouldn't even know where to buy it.....That's what happens when you take your geography lessons from Crocodile Dundee!

elperuano 03-06-2014 08:00 PM

Bro...
Ur telling him how to get in contact with gtm. I and I think many others would consider that recommending. Everyonr has tried to steer him away cuz we all know what they are about. No need to play the games. If said company sucks and someone looks for said company you wouldn't try to steer them in the right direction? Steering them in the direction of said company makes you just as guilty.
Find where u have defended gtm? Now THAT is too easy.

And crocodile dundee IS Australia!!!!!!

Your best bet would be to either call GTM and ask them directly or to check out the Forced Induction Finished Builds thread and send a PM to anyone one of the people listed who have a GTM kit. I cant remember how many people have their kits but I'm pretty sure that there might be one or two around somewhere......
