There is a company here in Tampa that coats them. now for the draw back...You have to take in count the thickness of the coating. Nissan makes a dozen types of engine bearings. We have to order one of every size and test fit them in our blocks. Long process!!

Not a big FAN of ACL, considering they went out of business couple years back.

That's a lot of money in RND and pray to god we get it right!

We put the engine, Crank , bearings , rods and hardware into the cryo machine.

Wow that is a Great price!!! I'm sure most are wondering why my cost was a lot more but it was due to going with a long block instead of a short block. To anyone interested I will be selling the heads, crank, timing cover/chain etc from my old motor.

At high power levels the 9:1 motor will see less stress than the 10:1 motor, but the 10:1 more will make more power for the amount of charge it gets.
Doesnt make much sense to me to run higher compression! I guess the next question here is what turbos are going to run on this build??

At this price I may say F the C7 for a couple more years now I'm doing a 180 again. Not to mention being local. Sigh decisions!

Son of a bitch. I wish I knew about this before I paid Nissan 11 grand for an entirely new stock motor. Oh well. I'm sure I'll be happy with the turbo when I stop by later today and see her on the Dyno.

Wow I would never put a stock block back in a car. You can almost always go built for the same price or less.
