TT question...dont think this has been asked b4.

Ok so i got some extra money to spend on my 370z. Keep looking at what i can buy right now. However my future plans is to twin turbo my car. Seems like all the parts i buy now will have to be changed for the twin turbo set up...exhaust manifold is different, intakes are different...alot of stuff is different. Is there any parts out yet that will work once i get the TT set up, besides the exhaust? If not ill just put the money away and save it.

uhhhhh...well u could by an exhaust. but i would go for ike a 2.75in one if u plan to FI it

Just save the cash for the TT Setup

nogoodname 09-01-2009 10:09 AM

dont buy anything now then.... save it til TT time.

Snakes709 09-01-2009 10:20 AM

ok thanks guys...was so close to getting a G3 intake from the dealership today. They were giving me a good deal since i bought the car from them, probably cheaper then what it would be from a vendor online by the time it changes to canadian dollar, duty/border fee's and taxes. But ill hold off for now. I'm still new to the turbo systems so i dont know whats required for them. I know quite abit about superchargers though but i want TT..lol

ill upgrade my brakes when its time to change the pads/rotors...i did the same thing with my other car, once it was time, i bought slotted rotors, hps hawk pads and braided stainless steel lines.

The only things I would spend money on if I were you would be suspension, and wheels. I would consider a new clutch as well when it comes time to actually purchase your TT kit.

Snakes709 09-02-2009 10:58 PM

well im not doing TT until i go and come back from afghanistan...the way it looks that will be TF 1-11...so ill be back mid/late 2011.

Get a nice coilover, BBK, maybe a B&M short throw shifter, nice set of Volks or SSR or Work wheels. Pocket the rest for boost.

If you are going to boost you could also do a good flywheel/clutch now or just wait till you TT. I'd look at the OS Giken stuff. (I think thats how it's spelt, check out GTMs website)

Actually, you can purchase the Greddy Turbo Ti-C exhaust right now:
