Does anyone with FI tell their insurance?

My plan covers 10k in parts, it does not care what these parts are. It's almost like standardized deductions to them. Once you claim a certain amount, they will care

I use State Farm...my agent is my brother....lol.

Or do what tower said. Increase the insured amount of vehicle in total. This is not as effective for individual parts(wheels, stereo), but for forced induction, would work with minimal impact.

I pay $16/mo over my normal amount(for 10k aftermarket parts). Granted we have 5 cars in our plan. YMMV
