Thanks for the help in pm's also. I will have more info tomorrow.
|
pm sent about this and the filter tube routing. Not normally my field of expertise but I've bolted several of these bracket sets together so I will see if i can spot the issue for you.
|
There's a shop close by that has ever bolt known to mankind, I can go tomorrow and ship them down to SD if needed
|
If he DOES have the correct bolt sending him one that will bolt the alternator together regardless wont fix the fact that the brackets would be mounted incorrectly. I am waiting on a picture from him before we go any further with it, if a spacer is out of place and a bracket is crooked or to far out it is going to cause nothing but problems in the future for him. If the bolt is missing we have hundreds of them, they are a cutom machined bolt so you would have a hard time finding it in even the largest bolt selection.

we try we just have a lot on our hands right now, so far as machining goes I'm pretty much caught up so I'm trying to help out a bit in my free time with other things, hence me on here at 12:39 in the morning...damn insomnia lol It also gives me time to do some new development and finish off some long term stuff, we have some really sweet things I've been working on lately that are getting pretty close to being done, actually I just finished a bunch of clutch stuff but I need to write up the manuals and take care of some of the paperwork for them first. The new bolt on adjustable billet pedal stop is sweet. Just have to find the time to get it on the website.

Matt I definitely appreciate your quick responses. I went ahead and sent you a pm, it looks like the bolt is missing nothing to do with the kit itself, either I lost it or something or misplaced it.
Thanks again for the help. |
Your inbox is full btw

Thanks just cleared it!

Ordered the following:
GTM 70mm radiator 14" ho spal fan + shroud (GTM) Baffled oil pan (GTM) Now working on designing oil cooler locations |
So just found out, nothing to do with the Kit. Since the 2012+ have the stock oil cooler, it has to be removed and capped per instructions.
The oil filter stud for 2009-2011 (shorter about 1.25") part number is #: 1521331U00, at first dealer will say that there is only one part number for 2009-2014 but it is not correct. The part is only like $5-8 and some dealers will have it in stock, pretty sure it is the same as sentra, maxima's etc or pretty much any other nissan. Here's the one for oem oil cooler: https://fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.n...56221493_n.jpg and what the shorter should look like or similar: http://www.courtesyparts.com/images/...213-Z34001.jpg |
I had to buy one for a 2010 to put on my 2013 Nismo.
