By all means dont believe me and make a kit for it. I would love to be proven wrong and put a twinscrew on my car. Maybe you could fo some crazy bypass valve stuff to get around it.

Here is something different for all you to read.... It showed up today.... Not only did GTM send me a replacement tube for the one that was dented. They sent a set of tubes to replace both, as well as new silicon couplers. Maybe this is the start of them turning over a new leaf... One can hope.

Yeah...well let me smack that notion right back down. There was an oil fitting missing off the original shipment. Bobby called Sam last week and asked him to include this fitting when he shipped the pipes. It showed up but it won't fit. Bobby called GTM and they're trying to find another one. Even if they find something and next-day it to Tampa it won't be here till Monday. It then still has to be tuned/dyno'd. I have to work Monday and my wife has major surgery on Tuesday so I don't know when or how the f*ck I'm going to be able to pick it up now. When Bobby called I asked him how things were going and there was dead silence and then he said 'not good'. My *** puckered so fast I could of snapped a tree limb in half. The only thing that came to my mind was that the motor popped on the dyno.

Bobby is trying his best to come up with a solution if they send another part that doesn't fit. Sam could f*ck up the nicest dream, between him and my bad luck I'll be lucky to get my car at all. If this sh*t don't end soon I'm gonna have a stroke with all the other crap happening in my life.

**** man, I'm sorry to hear all that... I know if I can't solve my issues soon ( I think it might just be crank shaft sensor ) that I will be going back to stock, driving the car for a year or so and then going back to subaru STi world... Having a summer car in a land that is snow 3/4 of the year doesn't make much sense.

Wasn't your oil fittings mixed up and were used in the incorrect spot Infidel? I could've read your last response in yor tread incorrectly though.

I hope they are turning over a new leaf! They received my car Monday, two days early , and started working on it right away from what Pablo told me. I'm goin to call Monday and get an update from Sam personally.

I hope they recover from the mess they have out themself in the 8 months or so. They were great at one point. That being said, a bunch of other companies are raising the bar very very fast, VSR, FI, BP just to name a few. Hope this platform continues to expand.

Yeah...that's what I got my last conversation with VSR, I should have my car on Wednesday. I wish the best for you concerning GTM. Best thing to do is call for updates ALOT and b*tch to Sam when progress has not been made. It was obvious to me Pable wasn't allowed to talk to me after a certain point. He seems to care but when the guy signing your check is literally over your shoulders it's hard to pass along info. YOU have to call Sam, although Sam did call a few time a couple of weeks ago most of the time, if he says he's gonna call he is full of sh*t for the most part

What are you getting done?

ETA...GTM's problems started LONG AGO, just look on my350z forum to see some pissed off people.

I am getting my stage 1 TT kit installed. I was originally supposed to be a DIY project over the winter, however they sent me a defective drill guide to tap into my cylinder head. It wasn't cast right or something so was missing around ~10mm of metal, because of that they are fixing my head for free. I figured they might as well just finish the installation of the kit and supporting mods as well as the tuning while it was down there.

I made it a habit of calling Sam everyday to get him to figure out how he was going to fix GTM's screw up. I have no problem at all with calling them everyday and being that little pest who will keep them on track. When you're holding onto somebody's $50,000 investment, you have every right to ask for as many updates as you wish.
