I though I wanted a SC too, but turbos are so much more fun IMO, Plus value vs performance, I see you get a well build kit, great service, an great fexiblilty with the BP kit. Even on low boost it will out perform the SC kit in terms of numbers anyway...

Tom,

I am sorry it has taken you so long to get your replacment tube, the vendor that supplies us this tube is sending us a new one finally and we should be shipping it to you this week.

Thank you for your patience,

-George

George, situations like these are unacceptable in terms of Customer Service, and apologies like these don't help, specially when they are months later. As previously stated, I'm running few businesses myself, and if that would happen in one of them, I'd make sure my guys will keep in contact at least weekly, send a free gift or a voucher.

It's a shame guys that your reputation is not as good as your work, your products are way better than other kits available on the market today. Improve on the communication and customer relations and everything will change in better.

Saying that, I deal with GTM and never ever had any problems, at the moment I'm waiting for the Twin SuperCharger kit to be dispatched within the next two weeks as agreed initially.

8 months is not a vendor problem. It's a GTM problem. You guys seem to be throwing your vendors under the bus a lot lately to explain problems that fall squarely on your shoulders. The buck stops with you. Your customers don't care WHY you failed them. They care THAT you failed them. And it's really telling the OP was left hanging until this thread popped up, and then magically Sam picks that exact moment to call. Guys, we're not idiots. Give us some credit.

Exactly! Nicely said

Why can't these guys get their **** together? I like their parts. I want more of them. I have cash in hand to buy more of them. But I'll be damned if they see another dime of my money until they get their issues worked out.

Dzel 02-03-2014 09:42 AM

Man that's exactly how I feel. I'll have to wait till next year to go FI but a sweet deal came up on a SC and I got the ok from the wifey. But I didn't go through with it just cause I do not want to deal with GTM.

The car would sit there for months with the SC installed waiting on a tube from Sam. SMH these guys are single handedly ruining modding for this community

GTM SC Intake tube

Guys, do what i did, give Sam a call and express your interest in the products and concerns in the reputation. I'm pretty sure this will help and things will start changing, rather than voicing your concerns here. I'm sure Sam is not running away with people's money and GTM has great track record in terms of products brought to the market, is not like they are one guy company with a website and a telephone number, they're established.

Speak to him directly and tell him as it is! He seems a very nice guy to deal with.

You must be new here. Use the search button read ALL the threads started by Sam. Then your thoughts are more than welcome.

yeaaaaaaa this thread wont last much longer lol

IBTL?

Tombonombona 02-03-2014 02:38 PM

I'm going to throw them a bone here. When Sam called he explained his situation and he did sound quite stressed by it.. I can understand having vendor issues like that, I've had to deal with similar stuff with my work, but if we had a supplier that couldn't keep up, or provide quality work in a timely manner then we shitcanned them and got a different one…. Maybe where they are located that is not an option? I am not sure. Also apparently they are working on getting equipment to finish piping in house.
I'm sure they have realized that they have some issues and are trying to work it out… We can all agree that they have a great product, they just need to work on a few other aspects. I thank Sam again for calling me directly.
