I have always heard on low profile tires that air pressure doesnt really matter too much...better off adjusting the camber from what I have been told.

exactly. but i'm cheap right now and dont feel like dropping all the cash for camber arms and whatnot when i just drag race for fun. my money has better uses lol all things considered where i have a pretty damn good 1/4 time, only have intakes/exhaust/tune, and run regualr psi, street tires, full weight, full tank of gas, etc and still win a lot......yea i'm good

:stirthepot:

no driver mod needed :tiphat:

Oh come on. It's a good time for sure. But I remember one guy here who ran a 12.4 with a 350z with only test pipes and a tune. I think he mentioned it once or twice. :p

Yeah, if you can get your 60' down a few tenths your time should drop substantially.

Yeah, that should hook up pretty well. Will two of them fit in the car to take out to the track? :rofl2:

but seriously though i need someone to answer my question on the last page.

what 18"xwide wheels fit on the back of a Z AND clear sport brakes.

found ROTA 18x12's cheap but A. they have a rep for breaking and B. i heard they dont clear our sport breaks.

I am way over due for driver mod. When I had my mustang I did a 12.8@126
Lol

I feel for you man, I ran 13.1 but only at 107 MPH I was all over the place and the AWD kicking till the 1/2 mark didn't help either. Gears 1-2 where completely pointless for me :icon14:

This is funny. I was reading and thinking, sounds just like Qualcomm, then noticed you are also in SD. That track is a very slow 1/8th. I have cut a 1.9 60' there in stock trim, but normally I am around 2. Not very good. :driving:

On low profile tires letting out air is pretty much pointless. Don't bother with a huge burn out either... Just a quick spin to clean off debris and water.

i'm able to hook in 1st with minimum spin. if you heat up some good tires, i don't see why you won't be able to either.

you can always change your gears too and go taller:

I got a 1.78 60ft with a pair of $70 Pep Boys' tires on a good sticky night at the track (Mustang), even power shifted 2nd gear and did a 12.01 ET (116 mph). Spent the rest of the night trying to get into the 11's with these tires and couldn't do it. It took a week for my clutch to feel right again after all that feathering out of 1st. Cut the heads and added some slicks and got a half a second quicker and 4 mph.
