if i remember correctly it was on slicks, many bolt ons, 8100rpm, 4.10s, and he's an above average drag'er pretty sure there was built and tweaked tranny/valvebody and high stall converter in there too. Zeliminator are you going to go to the 350z rear subframe and arms for the increased anti-lift?

The car had drag radials, and it was a stock 7 AT. with a pro torque converter and a few bolt on's.
The gears make a big difference. When the car was totally stock it ran 13.20 Z |
Well, with FI taller gears are preferred. Without calling for a pissing match...which street tire has the best 'out of the hole' grip? I know 1st gear is useless but I want a tire that does a good job of holding 2nd and gripping 3rd. Is it just a dream ?
|
2nd should be a non issue with a tire upgrade. My stock 19's break loose but it's not bouncing off redline like 1st. Centrifugals tq curve helps. 1st tho, it's slicks or baby the throttle.

^ hey SS any plans to take your Z down the 1/4 soon?
|
When I have some time. Maybe during spring. It was 48 outside and I felt my car get loose at 120mph today. I need some nicer rubber too. These Bridgestones are not cutting it.

i'm able to hook in 1st with minimum spin. if you heat up some good tires, i don't see why you won't be able to either. you can always change your gears too and go taller: http://www.the370z.com/parts-sale-pr...t-pumpkin.html |
