That should be enough for oil and water, provided you've got the fans set to turn on early enough and you're running a 75/25 water/antifreeze mix. Meth/water should handle all your IAT and heatsoak issues. If it were my car I'd look into a larger heat exchanger and larger radiator as well. Anything you can do to keep the car cool will help.

I don't think I have the room for a larger radiator or heat exchanger, the nose of my car as a crap load of stuff in it. I'm actually running water and Water Wetter only since it never freezes here and my car will never be anywhere it does while I own it!

A CSF radiator fits just fine. Any size difference is on the engine bay side. And others have managed to squeeze a bigger heat exchanger in there.

The CSF radiator fits in the factory spot without much if any modifications, it is what I have.
Other upgrade is the fans, GTM has a pre-made kit that plugs in and goes. You can probably piece it together cheaper but will have to wire it all up.

I've got the fans on the list of "Items I'll buy from GTM once they get back in the business of actually sending parts out to people who send them money". :rofl2:

There's also a Nissan thermostat that opens ten degrees cooler than stock. I've got one on a shelf in the garage for the next time I'm in there where I can get to it.

Same, I am waiting for summer to finish my data logging with my hood and see what difference it made and then throw in fans on top.
Should bug a few other companies to make a similar setup, fan shroud, fans, wiring, all in one & ready to go.

I'd even pay a little more for the same thing from a company who will take my money, process the order and ship me goods in a timely fashion.

Thank you both for the info on the radiator, I will have to look into that. I got on the list for GTM and even had a check ready to be mailed out but decided I didn't want to be part of that. I own a legal machine gun and was in a group by for new parts for it and lost some money so I'm just not very trusting of buying things before they are built. I would gladly pay more for the confidence that I will get what I'm paying for.

On the topic of water/meth injection, what are some of the pros v cons using this system?
JWillis, you want to use it for track purposes only, how hard is it to set it up like that?

Where did you find this neat little fact on 300ft lbs?

Comes from my research and 7AT thread:

If I'm remembering right, it's from the 2008 G37. Only the 2008 for some reason. It's at home, so the part number will be later.

G37sHKS 01-29-2014 11:14 AM

Weird. what makes you so sure its not the same on all VHR motors?
