When I bought my BP kit, one of the pipes were welded the wrong angle and Sasha sent a new one within a week. I didn't even have to send the old pipe back.
Ok and when I got a poorly machined bracket from GTM, they sent me a new one within a week (although Sam did try to blame the shop).

Like I said, their customer relations are awful but everyone has component issues. Don't crap on the product just because the owner acts like a jerk.

End result is the same.

*Edit: I'm not defending their attitude or the fact that they've taken people's money with no real delivery schedule in sight. I'm only saying that what they've produced has been good stuff (at least in my experience).

Um I've bought hundreds of parts from different companies. None have the issue that GTM does with components.

You sound like your actually defending GTM and their shenanigans...Very interesting.. As far as the owner acting like a jerk, that owner is the entire company and if he is a jerk or a con artist the entire company is worthless. Do you have any understanding of the games Sam has played with people over the past 10 years? You're one of the persons who got his product for whatever reason and is happy with it, that's great. But that does nothing for the others who have been taken advantage of and lied to by Sam.

It doesn't matter if the products are top notch if it takes forever to get it with no customer support.

For the guys already with GTM kits it's OK but anybody thinking of GTM will only be dealing with false promises.

I barely got my valve body upgrade back. If anything happens I'm **** out of luck now without any customer support. Have to look at different options.

You apparently have poor reading comprehension skills. I am not defending Sam (I think he's awful) and I don't condone his business practices either. All I said *very clearly* was that you don't get to **** on the product just because Sam is a tool. As someone pointed out, most of the products are not even GTM's, they source their kit components from elsewhere. I am ok with this because the GTM kit pretty much hands down blows the doors off of the only competing SC kit (Stillen).

The guy who ordered the TT kit who received it beat to hell was absolutely horrendous. I would have gone for the throat immediately if that had been me.

GTM ruined your business and now you're out for revenge. In fact, you appear to have joined these forums specifically to slam GTM. You have a grand total of 9 posts on these forums and all but one of them are on this topic. INTERESTING INDEED. I certainly don't blame you. I'd do the same but did you order a kit from GTM? Yes or no. If the answer is no, then kindly check the attitude at the door. I most certainly do feel for people who lost GTM roulette. I said as much the first time I posted in here. DO YOU EVEN READ BRO? Who talks like that...anyway.

I am relaying the experience I had with GTM (without pulling punches, straight up) and although you are free to disagree with me, you don't get to throw me in the "burn the witch" pile just because my opinion isn't in line with yours.

I think Future370z has it right. As I said in my initial post - which you didn't apparently bother reading, if I had it to do all over again, I most certainly would not give GTM my money. Now that their financial solvency is in question, you would have to be out of your mind to give that guy a dime.

I certainly didn't think they were disreputable when I gave them my "deposit" as I'm sure the rest of the folks in this thread didn't either.

Once again, thanks for validating my hatred for the FI forums. It's impossible to have a reasonable discussion here without this sort of ~forum warrior/internet tough guy~ nonsense.

.
Actually I probably ordered over $100,000 worth of engines and parts form GTM back in the days, so does that qualify me to stay and talk crap about them? In fact i think Im the most qualified to talk crap about them, I had ordered about 5 engines on a 10K average build cost...The one we ripped apart and had measured by one of our local builders after it smoked after 3 weeks, had ring gaps that were all over the place as well as other things way way off.. So I think Ill stay a bit and liven up the thread, thank you very much..

I too at the time, admittedly bought into the HYPE...Which is all it was, trust me.

Right. You owned a tune shop that got screwed over by Sam because he's a backstabbing ****. He and 2 other guys (one whose door you dinged and one whose exhaust you lost) ruined your business and you want to make sure you return the favor. Gotcha.

You want to question my motives? I'll do the same, "bro".

You honestly think I want to ruin Sam or GTM? LOL Apparently he is doing just fine on his own. I dont know what your issue is with me, but Im glad you got the products you paid for from them, I was just spewing some factual truth. As far as my motives, Im not disguising or hiding a damn thing..I despise Sam and everything GTM, but back then when there were all the nutswingers you couldn't say a bad thing about them without it being deleted or getting banned. Years of that, and this very thread and situation is the end result.

I bought into the Hype back then, found out it was all smoke and mirrors, and was silenced when I tried to come forward...
