Sharif is a good guy personally and an awesome tuner. He has right the ship but still left a bad taste in people who have dealt with his business.

I'm suprised everyone hasn't pulled out together and make them go bankrupt, all this horrible service and no updates would make me irate. If and when they have the kits on the shelf ready for shipping I would buy.

At the risk of being the devil's advocate...aren't you all bashing GTM too much? I honestly can't believe everyone is riding the bandwagon and hating.

Only 5-6 people (there or thereabout) are still fully paid, and committed. And personally speaking, I think the people involved have their reasons for staying, and are doing what they feel is right in terms of communicating with GTM.

Yes, I agree that communication is sorely lacking. Yes, I agree that I may be naive in the situation. Even I think that GTM should have been better with communications. I just think it's a bit childish to just constantly keep bashing a company on a forum that should should be providing better tech talk and information, versus just bashing and bashing.

I also think the thing with Forged Performance was quite true - members had major proof that wrongdoing was done. But speaking of GTM, at this point, I believe all refunds have been successfully refunded.

Me? I just hope that everything works out in the end, for everyone. I just feel like the forum has changed lately. And it definitely wasn't as friendly as it used to be. I also do not mean any hard feelings towards anyone - just saying what I think.

Friendly? Im sorry but I wont stay calm if I saw such a company ignoring the forum members this much.

Bashing on GTM? I have more GTM products than you do even after you get your kit (no offence please) but GTM did something shouldn't have done it.. really? 5k for twin turbo kit using garret? that's the cheapest of the cheapest turbo kit Ive ever seen in my life.. All of that for what? to bash on FI and take their customers and guess what? they failed at it.

We (at least I am) are not bashing GTM its just that delay after delay is what driving the forum crazy. you wanna stay in that GB go ahead GTM will deliver your kit one day I guess and it will be one hell of a nice kit.

I just want to ask you, when you will say "okay I had enough"? when is too much?

I'm almost worried that this will be one of my last posts on the370z.com, not because I am disenchanted, but by 'corporate' enforcement. I appreciate that this thread has been allowed to be continued....

This kit was announced about a month after I finally (after years of wanting) picked up a Z. I was extremely interested in picking up this turn-key kit as a project for my son and I to work on. It looked perfect, no taps, keep crash bar, I haven't seen anything else that looked more bolt on which is fully within our abilities.

Long story short, even if I didn't participate in the initial group buy price I was still thinking that I would pick this kit up. The original thread and this thread have changed my mind on being a GTM customer, frankly the parts look fantastic.

I'll keep this short, but for the most part in the internet of things there aren't too many bashers, they are easy to see through. There are new members all the time that are learning which companies create, deliver, and support products. I understand the need to keep things clean, but I haven't been at all encouraged by the lack of communication from GTM, the examples of past performance of GTM, and the willingness of the forum to silence customers to support a sponsor....

I appreciate that this thread has allowed real communication on what to experience to expect...

Hey, some posts are removed by the mods.
You have to understand that sponsors pay $70/month to be here, which adds up, and we usually shít talk REALLY hard when posts are removed.
Just have to deal with it.

In any case, I don't think you should leave because of GTM, we're all for having another member and car enthusiast here.

If the day comes that the GTM kit comes out, maybe we'll see your build thread.
If not, it's good to have you here

Wow, it is only $70/mo? They take the vendor's side every time over $70/mo.

Actually it's $57.50/month if you buy a year at a time.

On the LS1 forum I'm on wet don't have vendors only companies that give us a discount on parts if we show that were paid members to the forum. Outcome of that set up... no drama

Sponsorship price on this forum is very fair. Some of the other forums want so much money that they are doing their members a disservice. They get less vendors, and more bias. I hate politics but this forum is pretty mild on that stuff compared to others I've been on.
