Wow! I have not been in here for a while since I assumed it was kept on topic!

But reports have brought me here once again.

I see were just throwing wild allegations about the staff here myself included.

I can assure you that the STAFF has nothing to do with GTM'S dealing and are IN NO WAY condoning their actions or better yet lack of action.

I do agree that some things from their threads were removed and that was soley because they were off topic.

I cant understand when people don't understand when there's a group buy thread thats its fine to start throwing spears towards the op in this case GTM.

And thats the only reason those posts were removed, Had it been a separate complaint thread? Why would it have to be edited or deleted if its on topic, As everyone can see Nothing has been removed or edited since then or action taken against members just stirring the pot.

That should have showed that WE are not again condoning what they are doing.

I can only say that AK as the private owner of this site has been made aware of this, and is in the process of looking at what he's going to do, mind you he has to conduct a thorough investigation before ultimately deciding.

I again can only hope that everyone affected does either get what they paid for or a refund.

The STAFF here does NOT get paid anything as it is purely voluntary and have NO ties to any vendor here.

For those that are here to basically add fuel? You have been given the courtesy to add your input, and as such is appreciated,.

But at this time this will need to STOP as this is not helping the situation anymore so Im respectfully going to ask of those with negative comments whom already have said their piece? To STOP or risk action to be taken.

I would also like to remind everyone here of the classified forum rules that practically everyone apparently avoids reading

Classified Forum Rules:

Last but not least, here is the fine print: The Owner, administrators and moderators (of the370z.com) cannot and will not be held responsible for any transactions made within this forum. We are not responsible for any statements made, sales gone bad, money stolen, part failure, or anything for that matter. YOU SELL AND BUY PRODUCTS IN HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK! (Even if it's from our forum sponsors) We will try our best to resolve a situation with our sponsors and even terminate a vendor or sponsor status if necessary. But it's up to you to check everything before buying.

This is pretty much all Im going to respond too, I personally want to THANK Member: dmhenderson

For being spot on in his last replies I couldn't have said it better myself. :tiphat:

Bought and fully paid my TT kit in January. Outside group buy, though, which was closed long ago.
Sam recently told me only Turbos and BOV still missing. After 4 months I might onlybe looking at 1 more week or so :excited:

Was offered the MHI successor at the time and went straight with
Garrett GT2860RS 0.86 A/R (Ball bearing) with UpRev
Internal wastegate 0.4bar (6psi) (starting point of my venture)
Aiming for ~500 HP (crank)

still looking for a non-resonated catback with muffler delete pipes
that bolts to cat'd downpipes (coz my U.K. emissions test will actually measure the emissions)

oil cooler, electronic boost controller etc, to follow in due time.
All will be installed solo in my garage (as always)

I hope u do get ur kit but you gotta realize that Sam has used that excuse or similar version of it so many times already. Anyone who has asked has been given the same "just a week or 2 away".

It's interesting he took payment in January of this year.

Fixed.

V1h, you might want to at least have a backup plan. Don't wait so long you can't get your bank involved.

Anyone know whether GTM would be faster at shipping a Supercharger kit instead? Has anyone done such swap for the TT delays?

Infidel made that decision. Still took another six months or so. Your best bet is to get your money back ASAP and go back to the drawing board. Find a plan that doesn't involve GTM. If they end up declaring bankruptcy, you're out all your money.

Agreed!

Barring my current situation I believe I was EXTREMELY lucky in getting something out of GTM. I called and changed my mind in mid Deccember of last year, I personally think the train has left the station for anyone else looking to get something other than empty promises. What a shame. Just like our economy GTM's facade can only go on so long. I think I'm one of the last customers to get any FI product in hand...at least here on the forum. If they have your money BE SCARED.

If you keep getting the excuse that the turbos are a week or 2 away for several months there is one of 2 reasons:

1) Back order on the turbos (easy to confirm by contacting one of the 6 distributors in the United States which he has to be buying from Turbochargers | Garrett Distributors | Turbo distributors )

2) No money in the bank to pay for the turbos you already paid for. ( so as new money comes in he buys what he can and completes what he can. Typical Ponzie Scheme, not that he set out to scam anyone but current fiscal situations may prevent him from delivering. Then one or two people back out and want refunds and it sets everyone back weeks, months, years, infinity..)

Im hoping for all your sake it is the first of the 2 scenarios... Hate to break it down but those pretty much are the only 2 reasons this would be dragged out for over a year.

It's the second. We've speculated in one of the other countless "GTM is 6 months late on my order" thread that he's on a cash basis with his suppliers.

Anyone who still has money with them needs to get the ball rolling. You'll be so low on the list of people who get paid out if they go under that you'll never get a dime. If you have to eat a restocking fee, do it. Something's better than nothing. Run, dammit, run.

Like I said, if you take money from someone knowing that you will not be able to deliver said product it may be considered fraud.( you keep taking orders knowing you intend on filing for bankruptcy) Perhaps people should be doing the following things:
1) filing complaints with the California Division of Consumer Affairs for a start
2) filing a complaint with the small claims court in the county your in for the cost of your deposit (usually it costs $15-$25 to file on your own, no lawyer needed.)
3) Seeking guidance from the State Attorney Generals office if there is a large enough loss of money and it can be considered criminal. Im not sure what the specific laws would be in CA.
