Man, if only Sasha could have seen this coming...he would have built 20+ kits and sold them to all the guys that have been sitting on their thumbs and now are getting refunds with nothing to buy with them. Not to mention all the tax returns that should be hitting soon.

I simply would not do a batch of 20 kits. I would much rather build 6 or so kits at a time and take very good care of those 6 customers during the purchase/install phase, than scramble to get 20 kits out the door. That method simply increases the chances of screw-ups. To me the time after I receive the down payment is even more important than the time before. Customers often have a lot of questions, and I want to get back to them in a timely manner. If a customer realizes the importance of this, I am sure they are going to wait for the next batch of kits. There is also a bit of customizing that I can provide and with smaller batches I am able to accommodate all this.

I am not in this to get as many kits on as many Z's, I am in this to provide the best product with the best customer service, and product support.

Wow. That's great.

MMC Racing 02-17-2014 08:27 AM

George/Sam/GTM really need to help this guy out:
http://www.the370z.com/parts-sale-pr...buy-price.html

Any contract/agreement requires good faith on both sides. The customer provided the 20%, but the vendor did not provide the product in a reasonable time. George you said you were working to improve customer service, well here you go.

Dzel 02-17-2014 05:11 PM

MMC nice try brotha. But they showed us again who they are and not who they claim to be.

And now the info is out that GTM denied the person transferring the spot to another person. That costs GTM zero to do, but they refuse.

COSMO 02-17-2014 08:05 PM

Well the way I see it is when people here stop using them they will no longer care to be a sponsor. If only I had waited just a little longer before pulling the trigger...

Dzel 02-17-2014 09:22 PM

It really is a shame.

Certainly makes it hard to keep doing business with them. I'm going built motor soon. Would have loved to buy the supposed new t25 housing and stage 3 turbos but after all this I'm forced to look at other options. My stage 2 kit is great but that's where it ends with them.

George@GTM 02-17-2014 10:21 PM

MMC thank you for bringing that thread to my attention, I have posted a reply to clear up the miss understanding.

Happy Presidents day!

Just an update for any of you guys that are interested... still no check. Supposed to be here anytime now. Hopefully soon! Also, just curious who else is awaiting a refund? Sam told me there were 3 other people awaiting refund as well?

:shakes head: They keep digging the hole deeper.

Dzel 03-01-2014 07:49 AM

Wow! Still? I thought you received your refund weeks ago. You'll get it 09 if you feel that you need it now get your bank involved.

Hey George since sam has you doing his dirty work now maybe you can start a group buy for us who have spent good money on your company only to find our exhaust manifolds are CRACKING. We need exhaust manifolds that Do Not Crack. I'm only writing this here because your company will not respond to my emails and my kit is only just offer a year old. If you company is legit you would replace our Cracked Exhaust manifolds under warranty or maybe you would rather wait until it causes an accident by blowing up while driving and costing someone their lives...?

Dzel 03-01-2014 09:54 AM

Wow it's going way past bad customer service now.... GTM needs to fix this. And along with everything else that's an issue. We'll see how long it takes George to respond to this one.

JC671 03-01-2014 10:14 AM

Doesn't Surprise me...

:shakes head: A long time ago. DestinyZ had a huge problem with GTM. He's a Navy Guy who was serving here on island.

He bought the first kit that came out from GTM. Sam sent him USED parts and a damaged Intercooler which had oil and metal shavings on it. How the hell does that happen new?

He posted pictures, recorded phone conversations etc. But he got flamed here because of the GTM fan boys didn't believe that SAM could do such a thing. For the guys who live in state and can visit their project on a daily basis or can go up there in person. Easy fix. When your dealing with a company half way around the world and something out of the ordinary happens. They seem to blow you off and ignore you since you just can't come in and complain.

Long story short. When I go boost. I will go with a more "REPUTABLE" company aka FI or BP... Why the hell does a large company like GTM who manufacturers along of their parts and machines their parts in house need a 20% down on parts not available? Such bad F'ing practice and is really not allowed in terms of paypal by laws because you even aren't receiving any goods.

GTM, you think you got the market cornered because of a lot of things you it's come out with but in time you won't. Hopefully with the support that FI and BP get from us forum users and stories like this. They can expand and R&D more services for us.

A good product only goes so far. When a product fails, a company with good business practice should always stand behind their product and make it right.

Good luck guys and I hope all these horror stories get resolved.

JC671 03-01-2014 05:04 PM

Proof

I'll just leave this here to remind you what happened and how he got flamed for speaking up. This is joe's now wife then.

Gary Evans 03-01-2014 06:44 PM

Anyone considering doing business with this company had better watch these videos and reconsider who they are dealing with. I know I have. To many stories like this!
