He chose his ground. That's all it is. If you want Al check the 370 and 370 Z34 Facebook pages and ask about GTM. Shoot check the 350, G35, and G37 forums and what they know about GTM. It's not just the 20 of us on this forum. It's most of the community that feels like this. We're just trying to help.

I just got an email from my bank saying they closed the claim for my refund from GTM. I guess that means the refund finally cleared. Only took 4 months.

4 months to find $5-10k to refund you? Sounds like a perfectly healthy business that's not experiencing liquidity issues at all.

It sounds as if they have to manually take it back from gtm instead of them just issuing you a refund.. No surprise here but I'm glad you have your money back.

Yup the refund had to go to my bank instead of my account at this point. My bank had already issued a temporary credit to me but couldn't finalize it until the claim was closed. I'm glad it's finally over.

Selling immediately after a prototype is finished, charging the full price for products not yet made, and a growing list of past due deliveries and could result in a very bad ending to the story. It takes more than engineering skill and good intentions for a company to survive. Its a shame really.

Okay this went way to far

In before lock :P

Agreed. Aftermarket car parts companies always seem to fail on the business management side of things. This is why you don't let the engineers run the company. :rofl2:

FI is a good example to show how, had GTM done a few things differently, they wouldn't be where they are. FI never promised a date, for one. They flat out said "it'll be ready when it's ready". Also, they kept everyone in constant communication. Frequent updates help, even if the update is "Nothing new to report". And last, they didn't bite off more than they could chew. They didn't try to sell 100 of these things. They started with 10.
