Lol you come in this thread expecting gtm to post here????

DOOMMONKEY777 03-20-2014 03:29 PM

Hoping, actually this is only one of those threads.

Chuck33079 03-20-2014 03:30 PM

Isn't this the only GTM thread still open?

This one really isn't a GTM thread as it was started by a forum member. The first one I saw open was their SC release thread but it's all the way back on page three. MHI Group-buy still locked.

NeverBoneStck 03-20-2014 03:52 PM

So is it fair to say at this point Get That Money took a dump on the community or is there still hope ?? What are the facts at this point ???

1slow370 03-20-2014 03:59 PM

people who have been to gtm have said the kit is moving along but is still being worked on?

elperuano 03-20-2014 04:06 PM

^what he said

Dzel 03-20-2014 07:42 PM

Which had been the same update we have received for the last 10 months? I think...

What happened to George?

He was giving out too many updates, so they canned him. :rofl2:

Seriously, he was here for two weeks or so, tried to help smooth things out and give people info and then *poof* disappears without a trace. WTF? Meanwhile Sam shows up in Martin82's thread to give him instuctions on a radiator, and then disappears and leaves him hanging on the startup tune.

This is turning into the fight scene from "they live". It just keeps going long after you think there's no way this gets dragged out any further. :rofl2:

COSMO 03-21-2014 07:34 AM

I have a copy of the gtm tune that sam sent with my kit if anyone needs it but keep in mind I would recommend a custom tune after...

Martin82's got a sc kit, unfortunately. He and another guy have been stuck waiting on tunes for a while now.

It's starting to feel like GTM has realized they can't un-**** this group buy so why bother trying to fix it.

Hopefully they finally make good. At this point I'm thinking they just pull time frames out of a hat to tell people.

Dzel 03-21-2014 09:28 AM

If they can't even help the guys with kits installed what hope does the group buy have?

This is starting to smell like forged performance all over again .. Screw a couple vq communities and after the truth comes out after years of cover ups by mods move to another platform to sustain the business .. And the cycle begins again . GTM can not even keep stage 1 superchargers on the shelf let alone any turbo kits and people just wait .. So sad !!

COSMO 03-21-2014 05:13 PM

Forged Performance, bahahahahaha!!!! What a joke...

Cant wait to see how badly they stuff up the install of the Fast Intentions Twin Turbo kit that Tony has entrusted them with. Tony probably sold it to them because he wanted some bad publicity to even out all of the good publicity that he has been getting.......:wtf2:

elperuano 03-21-2014 06:33 PM

^Not sure if sarcastic or doesn't know what happened.

Always sarcastic and i know what I have read on various forums. This doesnt mean that I know what happened though. Does Tony 'know' what happened?

elperuano 03-21-2014 07:02 PM

Not sure but a lot of gtr and vq guys know about it. And his excuse was a verbatim excuse he gave after a botched g37 install in which gtm fixed and had a great time bashing the rival business.

In the end after lawyers got involved it was resolved. Only after the now famous gtr thread was read by like every car forum member on the net.

Kinda similar to what's happening to gtm now.....

Oh I know about the whole thing. I was great reading a while back. Pretty sure that I spent an entire morning reading through that abomination of a thread. I also remember what the first post on that post looks like today.....

My sarcastic comment was purely related to the fact that Tony is comfortable having Forged install one of his kits. We all know that Tony only makes the best of the best, so read into that what you will.

elperuano 03-21-2014 07:47 PM

There's still people that swear by FP. Kinda like the way u are with Gtm.

Sharif is a good guy personally and an awesome tuner. He has right the ship but still left a bad taste in people who have dealt with his business.

Masterbeatty 03-21-2014 08:51 PM

I'm suprised everyone hasn't pulled out together and make them go bankrupt, all this horrible service and no updates would make me irate. If and when they have the kits on the shelf ready for shipping I would buy.

1slow370 03-21-2014 09:06 PM

how are 4 or 5 people gonna make them go bankrupt?

elperuano 03-21-2014 09:19 PM

^lol not to worry they themselves have already started rolling the ball in that direction.

Rusty 03-21-2014 09:53 PM

I don't have a dog in this. But after reading this thread since it was started. All I can say is ..........train wreck........and glad, I'm not in the tunnel.......

G37sHKS 03-21-2014 11:55 PM

Whats happening to GTM is worse than FP.

Alstann 03-22-2014 12:32 AM

At the risk of being the devil's advocate...aren't you all bashing GTM too much? I honestly can't believe everyone is riding the bandwagon and hating.

Only 5-6 people (there or thereabout) are still fully paid, and committed. And personally speaking, I think the people involved have their reasons for staying, and are doing what they feel is right in terms of communicating with GTM.

Yes, I agree that communication is sorely lacking. Yes, I agree that I may be naive in the situation. Even I think that GTM should have been better with communications. I just think it's a bit childish to just constantly keep bashing a company on a forum that should should be providing better tech talk and information, versus just bashing and bashing.

I also think the thing with Forged Performance was quite true - members had major proof that wrongdoing was done. But speaking of GTM, at this point, I believe all refunds have been successfully refunded.

Me? I just hope that everything works out in the end, for everyone. I just feel like the forum has changed lately. And it definitely wasn't as friendly as it used to be. I also do not mean any hard feelings towards anyone - just saying what I think.

G37sHKS 03-22-2014 01:38 AM

Friendly? Im sorry but I wont stay calm if I saw such a company ignoring the forum members this much.

Bashing on GTM? I have more GTM products than you do even after you get your kit (no offence please) but GTM did something shouldn't have done it.. really? 5k for twin turbo kit using garret? that's the cheapest of the cheapest turbo kit Ive ever seen in my life.. All of that for what? to bash on FI and take their customers and guess what? they failed at it.

We (at least I am) are not bashing GTM its just that delay after delay is what driving the forum crazy. you wanna stay in that GB go ahead GTM will deliver your kit one day I guess and it will be one hell of a nice kit.

I just want to ask you, when you will say "okay I had enough"? when is too much?

MrGump 03-22-2014 02:29 AM

I'm almost worried that this will be one of my last posts on the370z.com, not because I am disenchanted, but by 'corporate' enforcement. I appreciate that this thread has been allowed to be continued....

This kit was announced about a month after I finally (after years of wanting) picked up a Z. I was extremely interested in picking up this turn-key kit as a project for my son and I to work on. It looked perfect, no taps, keep crash bar, I haven't seen anything else that looked more bolt on which is fully within our abilities.

Long story short, even if I didn't participate in the initial group buy price I was still thinking that I would pick this kit up. The original thread and this thread have changed my mind on being a GTM customer, frankly the parts look fantastic.

I'll keep this short, but for the most part in the internet of things there aren't too many bashers, they are easy to see through. There are new members all the time that are learning which companies create, deliver, and support products. I understand the need to keep things clean, but I haven't been at all encouraged by the lack of communication from GTM, the examples of past performance of GTM, and the willingness of the forum to silence customers to support a sponsor....

I appreciate that this thread has allowed real communication on what to experience to expect...

Hey, some posts are removed by the mods.
You have to understand that sponsors pay $70/month to be here, which adds up, and we usually shít talk REALLY hard when posts are removed.
Just have to deal with it.

In any case, I don't think you should leave because of GTM, we're all for having another member and car enthusiast here.

If the day comes that the GTM kit comes out, maybe we'll see your build thread.
If not, it's good to have you here

Dzel 03-22-2014 06:29 AM

<(clears throat and points one finger in the air) I have not bashed GTM what so ever. I have only pointed out facts followed by videos and other forum members encounters.

Wow, it is only $70/mo? They take the vendor's side every time over $70/mo.

jpritche 03-22-2014 07:49 AM

Actually it's $57.50/month if you buy a year at a time.

Dzel 03-22-2014 07:57 AM

On the LS1 forum I'm on wet don't have vendors only companies that give us a discount on parts if we show that were paid members to the forum. Outcome of that set up... no drama

phunk 03-22-2014 12:32 PM

Sponsorship price on this forum is very fair. Some of the other forums want so much money that they are doing their members a disservice. They get less vendors, and more bias. I hate politics but this forum is pretty mild on that stuff compared to others I've been on.
