Price isn't the GT kit $10K installed? Also, does anyone know if the GT kit can be purchased and installed/tuned by the owner? Some of us have built cars before

Price isn't the GT kit $10K installed? Also, does anyone know if the GT kit can be purchased and installed/tuned by the owner? Some of us have built cars before and tuned them (I know Ernie and I have) so I'd like to know if that is an option. I think that's what Ernie is looking to do as well.
