Yikes ! These are those little blips in the installs that are hard learned lessons for our shops to have to deal with !

Glad it all went away ... those little foxes can be crafty little creatures and definitely to find !

Thankfully the tuner was great, we spent 10 hours trying to get it perfect the first day and 6 the second day. The car has run absolutely perfect since.

May I ask as to the specifics of the impeller upgrade ???

My kit has the Vortech V3 and so far I haven't been able to nail down the right impeller.

Contacted 928motorsports and also Vortech ...
Need to know the directional airflow CW or CCW ...

Still waiting to hear from Vortech...

The car is just about to go into the shop...

Thanks,

Bob
The impeller upgrade through Vortech is $395 plus shipping. It will bring the Stillen Vortech SCi unit up to a Si flow level (9.52% more) and increase boost throughout the rpm band. I went with Vortech since it is "OEM" and in this case I felt more comfortable with that. Let's hope they don't f it up.

I ended up blocking off the top two vent because they were over the battery and break box but the hood still seems to help with heat. I haven't seen it over 180 oil temp and before the hood I would see close to 200 in stop and go traffic.

Just to follow up on the hood, it has helped with oil temps a bunch. This morning it was cool here for Florida (in the 60s) and I got on the interstate with the oil temp at 180 where it normally is and drove 30-40 min when I got off the interstate the oil was around 165. I have never seen the oil temp drop while driving 80 mph before today. You can also see the heat coming out of the vents at a stop light, it looks like heat coming off a hot road in the middle of summer.

Hopefully the Aquamist meth injection system will be one the car next week and I will be done worrying about heat. Fingers crossed!

This was my main reason for going with Stillen

Default 2013 370z Nismo with Stillen Supercharger

Hey Guys, wanted to post an update. So since the install we had a slight issue, that has finally been resolved. I had a trip planned to California and ended up visiting the Stillen shop. I need to highly mention this, GREAT customer service! My Z is now running the 9lb pulley, and still currently doing some fine tuning. Will be upgrading the exhaust and crank pulley within the next week. Over all I've been overly pleased and impressed with the performance and power gains and with what this kit has provided :-)

Dyno numbers will come soon as once I get the last few kinks out of my tune. (Sucks living in Prescott Valley and being up 5100 feet)

I hear you man, it's better here at 3,500ft, but it's still not the same as under 2000ft or near sea level. I maybe headed your way the first of next month. It's my turn in the hopper for jury duty there at Federal District Court. Maybe we can meet up.
