Would the HKS SSQV be a good option for my car with the GTM ST. 2 SC kit on it? Having a couple issues with the bov and there is maybe 800 miles on the kit. Pretty sure its a sticky valve, but recently been having some idle issues.

well the ssqv is tiny so you would need two to match the flow of the turbosmart.

Ah... Maybe the tial unit it is... Had some iffy idling issues today and it seemed like the bov was kind of sticking open unless I honked on it... Then again it could have been due to light snow and sub freezing temp.

Bah... That also sucks... I just want to find a good reliable bpv... Mine already has gouges in the brass on it, with only 800 miles.

i wonder if it wouldn't help putting a little pod filter or something over the end of it. Is this more common with BOV or BPV?

It's hard to pinpoint the cause of idling issues. These cars (G37 included) are notorious for rough idles (even in stock form) and giving a lot of kickback when trying to relearn it. I had to increase my idle to about 750 - 800rpm from the stock 650 to offset the supercharger noise. I too have idle issues at times.

Whoever tuned your vehicle, you should have them do a live data log at idle when the car is warmed up and adjust the air/fuel as needed. You could also have them slap it on the Dyno and if they can "Tee" in and check boost levels if their Dyno is applicable for it (if you're worried about a boost leak or BOV becoming stuck).

So an update... It's nice and warm out, I am almost certain it is stuck open as I can hear it venting even while under accel. And the car is running super rich and has much difficulty staying idling.... So I figure I might just try to clean up and lubricate the turbosmart bov/bpv ( not sure which it is) but it really should not be acting up with such little use on it.....
Any suggestions on action that can be taken would be greatly appreciated. Update I had it running (barely) out in the shop. At idle the bpv was closed, and the air fuel ration according to my laptop was at a steady 10.000 : 1 so that is really not good.
