What he said at the very least. You can always take it a step further and get an engine temp gauge since the VQ37VHR motor is known to run hot when pushed.

I would recommend AFR, boost, and post intercooler air temps.
For the air temps, ideally, you'd have a sensor for and ability to monitor pre and post to determine efficiency, but post-IC is really what matters.

He won't have a boost controller since he's going with a supercharger.

I say boost, oil temp, and fuel pressure. Im not sure where all this obsession over the AFR gauge comes from. From what I understand that by the time you notice something is off, it is probably to late. I guess they do make a pretty good lightshow at night. I will probably add one at some point but it was not at the top of my list

I'd be ok with the one gauge under the hood once whatever causes the drop in pressure is solved. That seems like a one-time fix. I'm running boost and AFR on the A pillar now. Later I'll add oil temp, oil pressure and water temp on the dash. I'm still stuck trying to figure out where to put an EGT gauge, and the GTM pre/post intercooler readout.

That's where the nav is. There's really no room for more than 5 gauges in the car. If I had the room, it would look like the cockpit of a F-16 with all the gauges and readouts.

I'd order the entire Defi catalog if I could find places for them. I wish the solutions that used the nav screen didn't cost a kidney by the time you added all of the sensors and senders you need to get it to work right.
