Tony this was not an attack on FI so please do not take it that way. I have purchase from your company and think you have a Great thing going and I'm sorry if I offended you in any way. After I was burned by gtm I would love to go with your awesome kit but can't do it because of money and what I said is the truth regarding the long term use of any new kit on the market, there is no long term feedback yet because no one has put any kind of real miles on any of them yet to know how reliable they will be. Something may need to be addressed down the road and there's nothing wrong with that but no one knows yet is all I am saying. I value you as a vender and a friend and what I said was only my opinion.
Oh and I did send you an email regarding what I had and didn't have.

Why does anyone buy any new product then? Brand new models and makes of cars come out and people line up to be the first ones to have them, yet they haven't been tested by consumers at all yet. If your style is to wait and see how a product does instead of lining up to be the very first, thats your choice. I think FI has been very transparent with the development and design of their kit, so it's not like they are all of the sudden releasing something new without any prior knowledge to the consumer base. Just my (I don't speak for Tony or FI, these are just my own words)

I never said they did not know what they were doing and how to build a kit. From what I understand there are a few more company's about to release kits too so it must not be too hard. Regarding your little lecture of buying cars, I own several Toyota's btw and can you guess why? One thing is for sure after going through all of this is to buy a car already forced inducted because it is so much easier making it faster than making a NA car force inducted and I believe most experienced educated people will agree with me on that fact. Again nothing was said negative about FI and they would be my first choice if I could afford to fork out another 10k on a kit but my opinion on how these kits will perform down the road is true. No one knows not even any of these venders because no one has logged any real miles and I don't know about you guys buy my hard earned 10k is not easy to come by in todays economy so lets try and stay on topic here and not start a flame war and have this thread shut down.

Dude not to be a douchey or anything around those lines but when you say phrases like "it must not be too hard" to develop a kit and you contradict yourself in your own post about "it's so much easier making it faster" when you refer to a forced inducted car it makes people wonder if you are really thinking when you type....and how you say you aren't attacking FI....you actually are....read some of your posts to yourself...and I think kfull was just pointing out the fact that people will still buy a product that no one knows the long term outcome or consequences because people are consumers and there is no way to play safe when your buying something unless it has been around for a while and yes you are right there is no way of knowing if it is reliable in the long run but that's what maintenance is all about.....it's not magic land where everything stays the same the day you bought it....everything is bound to break down sooner or later.....
And I'm sort of new to the forum but after reading the FI build from when they first started developing to the finish....Most people will agree that what they did was hard work or else everyone would be making their own kits left and right......I bet people could but it would not be as great....

When my build is finished everything will be listed but at this it is still being put back together. As far as some of these worthless post go, they will be cleaned up shortley... After speaking with charles himself we both agreed ot was not necessary with my power levels and fuel pump and injectors. Its not your money so if you do not like it I suggest starting another thread on whether one is needed or not and to how much power you are planning on running. What is sad is there are only a hand few of us guys who can afford to run built motors and being lectured by those who think they know what is needed and not. Run what you want on your car it makes no difference to me but until you have money going in my car feel free to keep it to yourself.... I started this thread only to help others going that route possibly down the road but if this gets out of hand and not on subject I will delete it.

I think everyone one else with a built block also went with a return system. I wonder at what hp the stock returnless system becomes inadequate. Or has that already been noted?

Cosmo it's all good info bro that's all.
I've been following your build thread because I too have the stage 2 and wanted to see what this kit can do on a built block. I didn't know or most of us didn't know that you weren't gonna up the boost. If ur gonna keep the boost to 10 lbs that's different.

That being said I'm tuned to 12 lbs on pump 93. With the 600s fuel injectors I was running out of fuel. Dunno if ur switching up injectors.

I thought you were gonna test the limits of the turbo kit and up the boost. But it'll still be a lot of fun.

Most hp on return less system

It's been noted! And the guys that asked about you not running a return system on a built block all have built blocks.... no reason to get upset, been following this thread and thought you were trying to push some limits. Either way, good luck!

It's okay, it's your thread so you're entitled to your opinions. I didn't know that stuff couldn't be purchased separately. If I were to start over I'd try the F.I. kit, but I've exhausted my funds for now haha. Maybe someday I'll get back to this hobby, so here's to hoping my motor doesn't pop till then

Regardless, our platform is fairly cheap. I've been drooling for a GT-R fitted with the AMS Alpha 9 kit as a daily driver. Then again, I rather daily drive a fully built Z for the simple fact of rowing my own gears.

I'm going with these injectors 1050cc FIC SP Nissan 350Z/370Z Fuel Injector Clinic Injector Set (High-Z) with my aeromotive stealth 340 fuel pump... Again I have known Charles since being on the the 350z forum and have already confirmed that this setup is PERFECT with my power levels. We have already covered all of this people. Also you seem to be forgetting I went with a 10.1 compression so my fuel pressure will not drop as much as a lower comp motor..

Good call on the pump upgrade. So what's the process like ditching the Walbaro for the Aeromotive pump? Additional mods? I notice my fuel level sender is acting up again, but it's not too extreme. Just the right most indicator not lighting up for a few hours after filling the tank. Something to think about.
