Did you ever make the decision to sell your kit or continue with it?

Honestly I'm still undecided because it really cuts deep to have to fork out more money for another kit. Here are a few pics..

Same boat. I'm sure it's cheaper refresh and update the kit since you'll need a custom tune anyhow. Upgrade injectors, fuel pump, water lines, etc. Here's an idea short of getting an entire new kit... ditch the existing manifolds and turbos for the F.I. ones. It'll require a few changes, but I'm not sure what extent.

COSMO 04-12-2014 10:50 AM

I actually spoke with tony about that but he wont do it. He wants full price right at 12k for his kit and although its seems to be a great kit it's too rich for my blood. Whats gets me is the turbo's are the most expensive parts right at around $1200 a piece so your really paying for are the exhaust manifolds and piping. The fuel accessories aren't that much but I just don't see why that kit is so much $.
Also there will not be a 370z next year anyway and on those other turbo kits out there no one has logged any kind of long term miles/reliability to backup the pricing... Remember when gtm was supposed to be the best thing like sliced bread? It's just way to early to see how these kits will do long term but this is just my opinion though.

Wow! I don't even know where to begin. First off, our kit is not $12,000. It is $2,000 less! If you cannot justify spending the money, I understand but you honestly have no idea what drives the cost of the kit or what we have put in to it. 2 years of R&D and testing. 10's of thousands of dollars spent that will take dozens of sales to break even. That is just the tip of the iceberg. We knew that going in to it and made it through the other side. The baddest TT Kit for this platform now exists. So for you to speculate about how much things cost in the kit and how much the kit itself should cost, it carries no weight. Are we not allowed to make money? What do you expect a business to do, just give it away! The sticker shock should not really be a sticker shock. You need to not compare it to a $6,000 TT Kit that is not even out on the market! Our kit was designed and is fairy priced to compete with the following kits...

Greddy "Tuner" Kit: $9,000+
GTM Garret Kit: $8,500+

I honestly am dumbfounded by what you wrote above after all of the phone calls and emails we have exchanged. We have accommodated you every time, regardless of how busy we were at that time. I even sent you detailed responses while on vacation. Never heard a response after the email sent to you on 3/27.

You are correct, we will not sell the manifolds or anything else separately. I have been asked this numerous times and my stance is the same. The kit sells as a whole and will not be parted out.

I am at a loss for words, so I guess I am done!

Tony
