Waiting for my new cp piston rings and bearings to arrive before my build.. You guys will see some real numbers up soon enough. That is whp btw numbers inflated crank numbers..

COSMO 04-15-2016 08:17 AM

This time around my goal is to reach around 800whp because I'm tired of my car being down. Not's like that's a safe number or anything and knowing I could shoot for more. Plus not having e85 anywhere close to where I live kinda hinders things as well. I will be selling my clutch and flywheel soon that is rated at 650tq that never slipped and has only a few thousand miles on it if anyone's interested in upgrading.

FPenvy 04-15-2016 10:01 AM

please continue. it's fun to watch for once rather than being in the middle lol

 slow work day.

COSMO 04-15-2016 10:24 AM

Shows over people we have both agreed to delete our post. Please accept our apologies.. In the strange of things I feel we are making head-way..

Dude! You are still working out your rebuild? I mean, I went to Korea for a year and a half, and now I have been back in the States for 6 months now. I hope the demons have been exercised!

What's wrong with RJM? I've never heard anything but good things on their clutch system and they now have a CMC.

COSMO 04-20-2016 07:56 AM

Crap your right, allow me to correct that. His new name is RJ Manufacturing in which he uses the abbreviation RJM. Stay far away from this guy he is like a gypsy in the night...

Damn when did he do that? I just replaced my POS CMC not long ago.

COSMO 04-20-2016 08:44 AM

YES Bobby Ralston.. These are two different companies so dont get them confused. I wouldn't want anyone thinking RJ Performance is AKA Bobby Ralston.. Before long bobby will have to start using numbers for his new businesses because he is almost out of using letters in the alphabet .... lol

My only concern now is someone mentioned some kind of adapter needed for this clutch. Bryan is running the triple disk on his has heard nothing about this..

You will def need one to fit over the throw out bearing on the slave cylinder. If you try to use it without one, the slave cylinder will extend passed the seals and ruin the slave cylinder. Trust me, I accidentally left mine off and that happened to me.

zguynate 04-21-2016 05:05 PM

If you look on Zspeeds website, they have their slave cylinder, then another option for the slave cylinder and the OS Giken adaptor. If you call them they will sell it to you separately.

My car won't be done before then, but I'll still be at ZDayZ. It will still be a blast.

COSMO 04-21-2016 08:29 PM

When I used to race Yamaha R1's & R6's me and some buddies used to do that every year on the bikes. So much good riding up there..
I think at this point it would be a stretch for zdays but maybe next year.. Hell I enjoy the ride up and back more than anything..
