Similar thing happened to me. Talked to a guy who wouldn't give me his name. I asked for Sam and was told he was not there. Told the guy why I was calling (cracked manifolds) and he said he knew nothing about that. I asked if the new ones were going to be released and he said he will let someone else answer that question. I was forced to leave a message for Sam. Of course he never called back.

Wild *** guess based on the way things are going and their liquidity issues.

yea, you could say the stars are aligning for a bankruptcy of some sort. mike leaving, people not getting their money, shady actions on the phone, lack of any action on the forum (besides george but where is he lately?). idk. people still in the group buy got more balls than i do especially since this type of thing has happened with other companies before.

Yep. Companies that make car parts go out of business all the time. Even well run ones.

After a few minutes on hold the guy who answered the phone came back on and told me no one was there to help. Knowing he knew who I was and after explaining how my exhaust manifolds have cracked he told me he had to go because he could not spend anymore time on the phone. Again to any and all looking to purchase anything from company better be paying close attention to what things will be like after the transaction on done. I now have a TT kit in which I going to have to spend even more money to another company to hopefully fix.

Wellllll... Didn't they already say they will not do business with you again?

I don't mean to stir the pot, I hope you get sorted out using whatever means needed I guess.

I'm more just waiting for your bitchin build to be done

It has nothing to do with being an utter @ss. The fact of the matter is gtm has screwed a lot of people and continues to do it without a care in the world their customers. But please continue your utter-bs line of crap like you always do.:owned:

There is a 350Z being shipped to JTran here in Houston that was sitting at GTM for 2 years. He was getting a stroked motor and various other things installed. After his dilemma with them he had the car shipped to another shop where they tried to start the car. When they started the car the crank hit the block, crank cradle.... If your building a motor and don't even take the time to freely rotate the assembly checking for clearance issues you probably shouldn't be building motors. His car continued to sit at the new shop with no progress so now JTran is going to help him get everything squared away, the way it should have been done the first time. I hear many stories like this everyday. Honest people getting screwed by shops not willing to take the time and do things right. It's more common than you would think.

I'm also familiar with Kyle at Import Parts Pro out of Houston and he does solid work, always satisfying his customers needs. I'm very familiar with the machine shop he uses and we use the same one when building our motors. They've been around for over 20 years.

Texas > everywhere else!

At this point it's not a matter of doing business with me or anyone else for that matter but fixing my existing order since their product FAILED. I have a TT kit under a year old with hardly any miles with a Cracked Manifold. There are others here that also have cracked manifolds and surely more people that don't even know theirs have cracked... Let's face it people GTM has Failed us and will continue to take others money unless they know their business practices and poor workmanship.

ha i forgot about that... obviously that point is moot now... it seems like they dont wanna do business with anyone... at all... ever again.

COSMO 03-11-2014 06:01 PM

There's more than one way to skin a cat. For some reason I wouldn't be surprised if they have been sued before.. The sad thing here is why not just do the right thing and make things right with their customers past and present? The answer to that question is They Just Don't Care!!!

fuct 03-12-2014 08:31 AM

or they are so back logged with thing to do and are spreading themselves so thin customers are falling thru the cracks....
