Sorry guys but no updates as of yet. I was kinda hoping to have my built motor by now by at least bobby is staying in contact with me keeping me informed of the progress. I've been holding back on taking anything off of the old motor because lack of space in my 2 car garage but I know I need to get those exhaust manifolds off to ship out.. More pics to come today..

Interested in seeing pictures of the hole in the side of the block and what's broken inside the motor.

So this is a shortblock, right? I'd like know know what is involved with the heads and valve assembly - cleaning-wise, and any other work needed?

Well you guys are going to love this. I just called gtm and told them who I was and the guy on the phone would not even tell me his name but instead try to find someone to help me. After a few minutes on hold the guy who answered the phone came back on and told me no one was there to help. Knowing he knew who I was and after explaining how my exhaust manifolds have cracked he told me he had to go because he could not spend anymore time on the phone. Again to any and all looking to purchase anything from company better be paying close attention to what things will be like after the transaction on done. I now have a TT kit in which I going to have to spend even more money to another company to hopefully fix.

For those who might be interested I have contacted an attorney that specializes in class action law suites in California . If gtm will not address and fix my problem I will sue them for them for the entire purchase price of the kit and even more for blowing me off. For this to be a slam dunk I need a few others that have had the same issues with gtm regarding the cracked exhaust manifolds and such. And trust me these attorneys will not take cases in which they might lose in court. I plan on starting a new thread pertaining to this lawsuit.

As much as I'd like to see you succeed with that, if they're out of cash you can win and get absolutely nothing for the trouble. I have a feeling they may be filing some flavor of bankruptcy eventually, so any judgment you get would be way down the list of people who have a claim on remaining assets. (I am NOT a bankruptcy attorney of any type, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night)

I mean, it takes them 6 weeks to send guys a $7k refund. Can you imagine if they got hit with a $50k judgement?

Wouldn't you have better luck filing in AL? Wouldn't the odds of you getting a default judgement be a lot higher?
