Blown motor!!!!
 

Went to z1 motorsports for a tune and while on dyno the motor blew. No lean condition not high boost. Trying to rent a uhaul to get home... gtm tt kit stage 2.. more to come...

Damn, sorry to hear that :( About how many boosted miles do you have on the motor? What tune were you running before? How much boost have you been running?

Like were you running high boost BEFORE you went in for your tune? Was the install correct?

No way form or fashion can Z1 get blamed. This is not a tune issue I feel.

Or maybe no boost controller at time of install? Boost ran high before the OP had one. Plethora of things to go wrong... Just don't feel the name Z1 should even be mentioned. I don't see this as a tuning issue, especially if there was no AFR problem and the boost wasn't high (AT TIME OF INCIDENT)...

Well just made in and trust me 6 hours in a 20' uhaul truck sucks @ss. It was either listening to country or christmas music. Needless to say I chose Christmas music and now I cant get it out of my head. @#$%^&* Taking a shot and going to bed, will post more tomorrow...... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Geez! That's terrible. I know it's nice to enjoy boost here and there. I typically have mine around 9 PSI, but it doesn't see that much boost often. Usually no more than 5-7 PSI, but that's half throttle. There's a guy at works who thinks I'm afraid to break things because of the way I drive, but it's really how I drive O_o

Im at 12 lbs. Only 1 map. This car rapes. Proper install and re-check and then good tune is all u need. Im at 12 lbs considered to be the max we should run since I put down 534/500.

I'm maxxed out on the fuel system. With upgraded fuel system this motor might be able to hold more.

Good luck cosmo, at least know u can go for some big power with a built block!
