Or maybe no boost controller at time of install? Boost ran high before the OP had one. Plethora of things to go wrong... Just don't feel the name Z1 should even be mentioned. I don't see this as a tuning issue, especially if there was no AFR problem and the boost wasn't high (AT TIME OF INCIDENT)... Just would like to get more info before we point fingers
