Yes it is huge.. however after you drive one for more than a few 100 miles you realize how amazing it is still. While it does feel somewhat numb it is just so damn fast, and the AWD system is simply amazing. The only deal break for me (which still isnt even a deal breaker but makes me think twice) is no 6MT

GTR + Switzer = pure bliss. Sat in a R1K Switzer built GTR and it was quick. No drama no fuss.

But as for OP, go ahead and buy a gtr. I'm sure you'll stay stock when ur older model 370 with boost leaves u in the dust. |

It's the most frequent debate on the forum but for the $55-$60k you are gonna spend on a stock, low mileage 09 GTR you can have one gnarly *** Z. If you want 600+ all day HP and have $70k to spend, you would be ignorant not to buy a GTR. Each have their advantages and to each their own.

Just depends on what you want out of your car I guess.
IMO the best reasons *not* to buy a GT-R are the ridiculous maintenance costs, Nissan's warranty silliness (hard launches, sport mode blah blah), and the lack of a MT. That said, I'll definitely be taking a hard look at the R36 when it comes around. |
Point is you're going to modify the gtr.. smh...

If the only fun you get out of your car is drag racing with it, you're doing it wrong in my opinion.
Like I said, it depends on what you want. Not everyone feels the need to reenact the fast and the furious when they pull up to a light next to another tuner car. "smh" indeed. |

And THAT is why a more expensive car starts out more expensive, lol |

Cosmo just bought a tt kit for his 370 and is thinking of going built motor. You're on the FI section of the370. You're preaching to the wrong crowd here. Smh indeed
