Temps around 100...
I will try and get some more data soon. I've only had the car out once since the install...

aerojacket definitely works well, my oil and water temps have yet to exceed 195F and that was beating the crap out of the car at 16psi. normal driving my oil temps sit around 170 now, 180 if its warm out. this is with a mishimoto radiator and a 25row oil cooler.

^^^ That's pretty impressive.
Just make sure you aren't over cooling -- beating on it much before 170* F is a bit on the cold side, but hovering right around 180* - 200* is probably perfect in terms of lubing and also keeping the ECU and valvetrain happy.

Yes thats definitely worth mentioning, too cold is bad. It's annoying when its colder out because it takes longer to warm up, and I don't boost at all or rev over 4k rpm's if the oil is < 160F, but I don't drive it at all during winter so its only a minor annoyance in spring/fall. Once it gets to summer temps here I will be glad I have the extra cooling.

I want to get vents into my Z, but I don't like any of the vented aftermarket hoods currently available for the Z. I want a more simple and elegant vented hood like these BMW type ones. |
