Like Chuck said, it's probably the same or heavier.

Your OEM hood is thin aluminum. Sloppily cast fiberglass core + some CF on the outside for looks can be really heavy compared to the aluminum.

'swhy I really wanna have my hood modified rather than get a CF one.
