dropped all intake pieces / FMIC off to get satin black heat dispersant coating on some pieces and satin black thermal barrier coating on the others. also, didn't like the blue GTM connectors for the intakes to throttle bodies so i went and ordered some red ones. intakes should match the crossmember and the red i think will look pretty good against the satin.

about to go in the garage and mount the alternator, powersteering pump, idler pulleys and hopefully if I have time, install the drive belt!

Nice! I'm still waiting on some kind of info on mine. It's starting to get really frustrating. On top of that add the stress of being in the middle of the ocean on deployment and not having the ability to contact them and you can understand my mental state.

Yeah, I'm still waiting on info on my oil cooler. I keep calling and he say's he'll send the info over, but he sounds really stressed so I've been relaxed about it. I'll call again today cause I really need to install it soon, I'm not far away from finished now. I want to fire the car Friday. Kit is beautiful though, SERIOUS props to GTM on the work and how well everything is packaged, labeled and easy to figure out what is what.. you'll be happy once you see what you've got. PM me if you want me to ask about it when i call him, or George@GTM on here should be able to get in touch with Sam, since I know Sam can be hard to get through to via Email.

worked at it again today, the alternator was a bit of a pain in the ***. everything fit beautifully in the end, nice, tight and man it looks good. so clean. tomorrow im gonna work on finishing the power steering, reinstall the intake manifold, and start on the s/c oil lines.. i still need to finish wiring the fuel voltage stabilizer stuff but the pump assembly is back in the tank all safe and sound.

heres a pic after i got the belt on

sooo, i'm highly doubting i'll get to fire the car this week. I was trying hard to make it to a sponsorship selection meet this weekend but i still have no oil cooler. so unless it gets overnighted tomorrow(which I don't want to pay for) i've got to wait till next week. but i decided while the car is apart to take advantage..

build continues tomorrow, hope to have most of the supercharger lines routed, filter, tank, etc done. my intakes and FMIC will be back friday, so I can continue reinstalling stuff till i get to the point i need it.

I agree! My friend Austin did them for me. It was one thing I always disliked about the look of the car stock, and he said hey lets do em while the bumper is off.. so I gave in lol.. Can't wait to get them on the car.

Thermal dispersant coated... supposed to let more heat out than normal... now that I think about it, I wish I did the radiator, headers, etc. We'll see how well it works to keep the IATs down

bit of an update... had a lil bit of fitment issues with the intercooler and the front crash bar. just barely touches the bar. cut out the radiator supports for the intakes, finished up running the oil lines for the supercharger..

still though, no oil cooler and its starting to get frustrating. i'll call Sam again tomorrow morning.. i paid for 2day shipping on friday, and it still hasn't been shipped. hopefully he'll overnight it to me to make up for the troubles..

had to yank the headlights again to be able to tighten the clamps on the hump hoses, and had to cut part of the fender liner to get the piping that connects the blower to the intercooler to fit. gonna try and get the header thrown back in tomorrow morning, intakes installed (except still waiting on the red throttle body couplings, received orange couplings instead of red.. had to re order) then try and finish my oil filter relocation stuff in hopes that my oil cooler kit will be here thursday or friday.. we'll see..

Sorry about your troubles with GTM, but your own the home stretch and this is a very solid kit. It's going to be a blast!

Yeah, it is, I can't wait! I may just finish the kit, and install the oil cooler in a month or two. It's not even 60F during the day yet. Tired of driving my Focus, although it's fun too, I miss my Z.

decided to finish a couple things up.. i've been holding off so I don't go insane waiting for the cooler. broke a band clamp bolt but got that taken care of. BPV, header / art pipe, and oil filter relo to finish tomorrow.. waiting on red couplers for the intakes, and gotta finish some wiring but if Sam sends me my supercharged ROM to load, she'll fire this weekend
