16 months and 25k later and now you're just starting to get impatient?

You gave them a fortune for the supercharger, got nothing in return for 8 months, and then gave them more money for a motor that they have been unable to complete in 8 months? And now you have nothing to show for the $25k youve paid? Are there no shops anywhere else in the world that can build a VQ? You've been way too patient.

No matter what they have told you, it does not take that long for a motor to be built.

Its a 4.2 stroker engine with stage 3 heads.
The track open here the first week of April and im going to run the engine N/A, hoping to get into the high 11's.
I talk to Sam every week. i know that he was not well, and they shut down for christmas and he got shafted by the supplyer making the stage 3 motor mounts for the SC and had trouble with the valves for the heads.

Isn't the compression ratio for a motor that's intended to see a lot of boost completely wrong for a NA motor?

And you're still being too nice. He owes you a lot of parts and you're letting him off the hook too easily.

Teardown begun today, I plan on having the fuel pump assembly removed and most stock parts removed by tonight, fuel pump assembly reinstalled in the AM, and then we'll work on the rest from there. Sam got back to me today, my oil cooler supplement kit will be here next week and I've also sent him my ECU information for him to start building my tune :) any questions or requests for pics and info, lemme know.

progress, and thanks to the guys that helped both here and at my house today.. one of the best investments (i'll snap a pic tomorrow) was organizer trays i found for labeling hardware. the ones where you put the dividers in yourself. write down where the nut/bolt/etc came from on the divider, which page it shows removing it in the tech data and boom. no question as to what came from what.

anyway, so the real pain in the *** today was the power steering lines. the ones on the rack itself suck to get to. the lines are a pain in the *** to remove too, the way they're routed and being solid and some braided inside, it took longer than expected. but, as she sits: hood removed, bumper removed, intakes completely removed, power steering pump, lines, brackets, cooler removed. alternator and brackets removed. radiator fans removed. airbag sensor moved. fuel pump assembly is ready to pull out, im gonna do it in the morning. coolant drained, rad hose removed, all needed plastic covers removed.

tomorrow: paint needed brackets, complete fuel pump job, wire Defi boost gauge and Aeroforce Interceptor gauge, pull header and art pipe.. then begin install of injectors, brackets, etc. hoping to get the supercharger mounted. day went well, bit more time consuming than I thought, but i also didn't rush it. here's a couple pics i snapped. more tomorrow, with the DSLR.. i'm exhausted..
