Alright guys, new GTM TT owner, I can't cope with the smell, its just a bit much.
I've got a stage 2 kit and GTM test pipes, I've got a few questions about how to kill smell. First off I don't care about smog or emissions, just have to kill the smell. I am thinking of two options, 1. Making custom high quality cats using HJS cats, have them fabricated on my GTM test pipes, or maybe some other high quality cat that won't blow out under turbo stress? 2. Install the cats before the mufflers, "wrc style". I heard this somewhere about rally cars mounting cats behind the mufflers to kill smell? can anyone confirm or deny this? It would be much easier and safer on the cats to mount them down the line. |
