GTM TT K&N part number?
I'm looking to get a spare set of filters so I don't have to wait around for the filters to dry after cleaning and re-oiling. Which filters do they use on their kits?

I ordered 2 filters from GTM and they sent me two K&N RC-9350 filters which are universal fit 2.5" filters. This is GTM Part #GTM-030-3 They also show some 3" filters, GTM Part #GTM-030-30, that fit the TT and SC. So I guess it depends if you have 2.5" or 3" inlet filters. EDIT I bought 2 spare filters and rotate clean/re-oiled ones every other oil change. |
That's diameter, correct? In that case I'd guess I've got the 3" filters.

You can call K&N, give them all the dimensions and they'll give you the part number

I was trying to get that without pulling off the bumper and measuring. I'm just being lazy.

I would like to know the part number as well. |
Same here.

Just called GTM, whoever answered the phone didn't know the part numbers offhand but told me I could buy them from his website. Come on, man. I'd like to be able to shop around.

Thanks, man. You've got two on the website and the prices are fairly different.

Thanks, Mike. Does your Stage 1 kit use the 2.5 or 3" inlet? It looks like 3", but it never hurts to double check.
|
Is the stage 2 tt kit the same?
|
As far as I can tell, the only difference between stages one and two is the hot side of the turbo.

The exceptions being our Stage 1.5 and Stage 2 Supercharger kit and our 350Z HR Supercharger Kit. |
Thanks Mike

I got my spare filters from GTM and my replacement serpentine belt. Given your proximity to Texas, the turnaround time was great. The price was little high but that is the business. I did choose other sources for a spare belt to keep on hand. Thanks for supporting the community. |
I was hoping to find an AEM Dry Flow or Green replacement so I wouldn't have an oiled filter, but neither of them offer one in the correct size.

Good to know! I just cleaned and re-oiled my filters while my car is in the body shop.
How "clean" should the intake pipe be? I think I see a little bit of build-up. I'm planning to clean the throttle body after getting the car back. |
