Legit! Have fun driving it!
Be safe

Very nice. Given the climate, are you doing anything special to address cooling?

looks like he has 2 oil coolers...

Chuck33079 07-12-2013 08:37 AM

Right. I was seeing if that was it, or if there was more to it than that.

Baer383 07-12-2013 10:36 AM

One of the oil coolers is for the SC itself.

OP
Congrats and enjoy the boost. You might consider these cooling upgrades.

Add a SPAL 7.5" fan on the GTM Oil Cooler itself.
http://www.the370z.com/members/wind-...64-spalfan.jpg

Vent the drivers side fender liner. You can DIY or GTM makes a replacement splash shield.

I'd invest in another oil cooler

I'd get a huge radiator and oil cooler like I already have...

Those cute little Setrab cores don't cut it, imo.

SPOHN 07-12-2013 03:19 PM

Glwb

Chuck33079 07-12-2013 04:16 PM

I'd be looking at a radiator at the least. Maybe fill it with straight water if your climate never gets cold enough to freeze.

Mkai0 07-12-2013 09:15 PM

Definitely get an upgraded radiator. It almost seems that one would be cutting themselves short without getting one and having FI on these cars. Even with my Setrabs, here in Texas, my stage 1.5 doesn't run nearly the same when temperature get above 95 degrees. Good luck.

Hi

to where did you connect the oil cooler fan to ? (electric connection )

i plan to connect it to the radiator fan , you think its ok ?

GUTCH 07-17-2013 12:23 AM

Would the extremely dusty/sandy climate here in Israel be an issue one would have to consider when going FI?

I mean the stuff is everywhere.

I would say yes, but not in a way it would destroy or hurt the car more with FI. It would just require increasing the maintenance you do and keeping an eye on the belt, filters, etc for adverse wear & tear.

Chuck33079 07-17-2013 07:27 AM

I'd guess you would have to cut your filter cleaning interval in half at the very least.

theDreamer 11-08-2013 08:28 AM

Nice, are those the final numbers?

Motinatan 11-08-2013 01:35 PM

the best run is 555.1 rwhp

Jerggy13 11-08-2013 03:05 PM

Did anyone notice the lower horizontal aluminum brace in this image that the two brake ducts are attached to.

This image

THE US market cars do not have this brace. I am assuming it is there for crash standards in other markets?

TerribleONE 11-08-2013 03:13 PM

Nice numbers man. What did the car do as a baseline?

I'd pay an extra $500 if that makes crashes more survivable

Europe has a standard for the front of vehicles for when you run them over on the street when they're walking. The car can't go over them. It keeps them from going under. It's like an old fashion cow catcher. :icon14:, That's my understanding of the law on it.

martin82 11-10-2013 10:36 PM

Anyone has one of those for sale or is it added to the crash bar by bolts?? Can we get more pictures? That could be a perfect solution for mounting a full front splitter

Looks like it might be bolted on. See the holes near each end. Could be bolt holes.

faceglide 11-10-2013 11:37 PM

Talk about off track.....

OP, great numbers, thanks for sharing. Keep it all clean and happy, wishing it hopes a loong time for ya!

Martin don't expect those numbers, they are a little inflated or a different type dyno was used,my setup was the the same @ 516 @ 11psi.

SPOHN 11-16-2013 01:39 PM

Those numbers are not right. Something's funny.

Why is it the HP and TQ numbers don't cross at 5250 RPM like all dyno? What measurement system is this? Newtons?

EDIT: it's a Dyna Pak. That's the main factor.
