Would the extremely dusty/sandy climate here in Israel be an issue one would have to consider when going FI?

I mean the stuff is everywhere.

I would say yes, but not in a way it would destroy or hurt the car more with FI. It would just require increasing the maintenance you do and keeping an eye on the belt, filters, etc for adverse wear & tear.

I'd guess you would have to cut your filter cleaning interval in half at the very least.

THE US market cars do not have this brace. I am assuming it is there for crash standards in other markets?

Europe has a standard for the front of vehicles for when you run them over on the street when they're walking. The car can't go over them. It keeps them from going under. It's like an old fashion cow catcher.

Anyone has one of those for sale or is it added to the crash bar by bolts?? Can we get more pictures? That could be a perfect solution for mounting a full front splitter

Looks like it might be bolted on. See the holes near each end. Could be bolt holes.
