i run mine with out a tune and its fine it will help keep your intake charge temp down i am using 80% water 20% meth atm because the car

i run mine with out a tune and its fine
it will help keep your intake charge temp down i am using 80% water 20% meth atm because the car is not tuned for the meth

once the car is tuned for water/meth timing is added at that point you dont want to run the car hard and run out of the spray that could kill the motor

but yes with out it being tuned your not going to get the most out of water/meth
but if your running it with mostly water its more of a coolant then anything
